There were only ~50 Lurker merit badges available (~500 people) and Imgur staff were very reluctant to give them out. You basically had to do nothing to get one (no activities, no other previous merit badges. Just. Nothing.)

Not sure if I'm proud that I got one or embarrassed that I was caught in action :/

I'm definitely writing only the facepalm-y ones, probably because it is easier for me to remember/dwell on those. I'm not usually so awkward (a common refrain), I felt like I received all The Awkward I had avoided for the last several years in one huge dose. I guess what I am trying to say is I still had a good time regardless, and Camp Imgur wasn't just for the popular/attractive/cool/proud/whatever-trait-you-aren't people, it's for everyone.

And on the plus side, the panels, activities, comedians, and location were amazing! Really great choices all-around! AND I met a ton of kind, helpful, genuine, downright awesome people so I can say for me, it was a fun time!
