Except that tariffs aren't being removed...they're being reduced (on a 90-day interim basis). So there will still be tariffs on goods, which means the consumer will still pay more than they did before. And, they could go back up after 90 days.

Of course not, everyone's faith in the trading partnerships have been shaken and many countries will no longer trust or consider the American dealers reliable. Especially since the tariffs could come back at any day, without warning. Better to just trade with other countries and avoid the risk.

They weren't actually, from the British perspective the EU asked a lot and gave very little in return; I think when Britain joined I think it was because they recognised the need for a federal European superstate in the coming 100 years. Weirdly Oswald Moseley was one of the first proponents of that, after his time in prison during WW2.
