Get out in the back of one, just kick the door and the window should open. Read an article on this situation where cities trying to reduce carbon emissions were looking at Teslas for their fleets. The cost to properly outfit a Tesla car or cybertruck for police usage was far more than the cost of the vehicle. This compared to outfitting a Ford Lightning since Ford has much more experience in that space. Interesting read to say the least.

Also consider that quite a few Police undercover and pursuit vehicles are seized assets, with a budgetary cost upfront of 0$ before outfitting. Point stands though, it's a poor investment to outfit a rolling piece of shit for cop use...

I got off an elevated train, walked down like four flights of stairs, walked down another flight of stairs, got into a car that bounced off the curbs while the "driver" just sat there waiting for the whole thing to go haywire, got out at the station, walked up another flight of stairs, and still had to walk across a parking lot to get to the other end of the convention center. I could have probably just hailed a taxi.

Also the Mandalay-Luxor-Dump Excalibur monorail does not link up with the one at the Park-Cosmopolitan/Bellagio one even though they are RIGHT ACROSS THE FUCKING STREET FROM EACH OTHER AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!
Vegas has a massive amount of fuckage. The weird thing about the tubes is that if someone is being a dick about going under their property you can change directions and go somewhere else. Small enough for a Tesla/little car, won't work for a subway/bus.

LA barely has a subway system. SF is the only other place you'll find anything like that on the west coast. They simply don't have the density out there.
There are cities you've never heard of in Rhode Island and New Jersey with more population density than anywhere in California, never mind Vegas.
