Part of you're brain is saying "you need to move as fast as you can, fast fast fast!", part is saying "Keep a strong grip, keep a strong grip, not too fast" and the other is saying 'fuck it lets jump! We're not that high."
Probably a developing country so hospital is unlikely. I went on a hike in NW Thailand and the tour guide pointed out trees like this where poor kids were sent up to get the hive. Some die. It's not something people do if they have other options

You can smoke bees to get them to react differently to your presence than they would normally. This applies to wasps as well but not as effective.
