I personally don't think the cyber truck is ugly. Yes it looks like a 5 year old drew it but it's a intriguing design. However I will admit that it's a over priced piece of shit that is unreliable. But the biggest issue isn't the truck itself but the idiots driving it.
It's not fancy. It's just a downright UGLY truck, & a poor design. There is no art or beauty in that vehicle. It looks like something the kids might fashion with left-over aluminum foil after a cookout.
When EV's brick, all 4 tires lock up. You can't disengage the parking brake. So they have to either be dragged onto a flat bed, or towed using those wheels.
I had no idea it had that ridiculous logo on the back. It's like the designers looked and thought, "How can we make people regret looking at it even more?"
No, it's a 3rd-party decal the owner bought that says "Cybertruck" in the Cyberpunk 2077 font. Like, you don't have to like it, but it's not an insane choice on Tesla's part.
I’ve always wondered what those extra small 4 wheels you always see on tow trucks were for, I assumed they were integrated with the whole machinery with the hook pull thing. You learn something everyday, I guess.
I had an awd subaru an the couple times it needed to be towed it was in a specialized flatbed, that angles up for loading an offloading. I guess I assumed there were two types of trucks the one of the gif would tow both fwd and rwd just Lillie lifting the front of one and the read of another.
Something to do with certain transitions being damaged if towed. most electric vehicles can potentially be really f****** up if towed in the wrong setting. -tow truck driver un-ditching an Amazon rivian van I was chatting to a while vack
Electric motors differ from electric generators in literally nothing. You force a motor to spin, it'll start generating energy. With the battery turned off and unable to charge, there's nowhere for the electricity to go, so it'll just turn itself into heat instead.
He kind of discredits this being symbiotic relationship by the fact that there is any advantage to the flatbed species. Until proven otherwise the Cybertruck is just a parasite.

Mater will easily outlast any Cybertruck.

only way it will work

Anything is zero emissions if you tow it...

The tower doesn't even trust the back wheels? Or are they electronically locked?
ayeseaturtles
Aw... what happened? Did it get wet?

Ugliest car. You will not die in accident but you will die in shame

Can anyone explain the contraption on the back tires?

Ahhh, thank you kindly for the explanation!

The cybertrash has a tramp stamp. What's Mader plan on doing with her??
IAmNotNSAsodonotbeparanoid
Nothing. Mater doesn’t take advantage of ladies who cannot consent of their own free will
PimpinKen
Don't look like she would be maters type anyways.
USKillbotics
Ctrl+F "tramp stamp"... dammit
SlayerOfGoat
Are you damming it because you couldn't find it or because you did?
USKillbotics
Because I did.

It looks like the Cyberpunk video game, which is really funny because Elon Musk is basically Jesse Johnson

I think those are aftermarket decals, added by owners because they keep hearing people saying "what the hell am I looking at, here?"

It’s cyberpunk bro

I’m still going to blame them in spite of the facts
MightyIink
Jeez, they can't even be towed properly without a special wheel bar...
Kiares
None of the BEVs are supposed to be towed with wheels on ground, most AWD vehicles same boat.
ArcUlfr
The front wheels of the tow truck look like they're having some trouble keeping in touch with the pavement.
Kiares
They might be TBH, BEV vehicles are very heavy, that's a hell of a lever right there.
CaptainHyperbole
I’ve always wondered what those extra small 4 wheels you always see on tow trucks were for, I assumed they were integrated with the whole machinery with the hook pull thing.
You learn something everyday, I guess.
Ristari
Assume they do that for low profile vehicles and rear wheel drive ones?
CaptainHyperbole
I had an awd subaru an the couple times it needed to be towed it was in a specialized flatbed, that angles up for loading an offloading. I guess I assumed there were two types of trucks the one of the gif would tow both fwd and rwd just Lillie lifting the front of one and the read of another.

Can't it also prevent damage to certain types of cars. Like rear wheel drive or something?

bronsonmills9
Parasitism is a type of symbiosis, along with commensualusm and mutualism. If the flat bed is neither harmed nor benefited, it is commensualism.
LongCommentChainAppreciator
Depends on how restricted you use the term. And in layman usage it is almost exclusively excluding parasitism.
SchlappaDaBass
Agreed re layman usage. But re the scientific term, parasitism is a type of symbiosis.
LongCommentChainAppreciator
That is also at best a 50/50
spontaneous9
Payment, I believe is the operative exchange method in the symbiosis.
BellsTheorem
Payment comes from the human not the Muskmobile. So it's still a parasite.
Selfawerewolf
no shit they don't move without human interaction either so maybe stop trying to beat the joke to death would ya?
BellsTheorem
Sorry. Didn't mean to upset anyone. lol
