I remember that I once drank beer and drunk-talked with my former military dudes at some open-air bar in Rome, until 2am, having a train to the airport at 9:30 the same morning. One of the best "outings" ever.

On my last trip to Denver I discovered my new favorite bar (esp). Went there a few nights, made friendly with the bartenders. One night started talking to two regulars. Hopped to a couple other bars with them, sang karaoke, played drunken chess, felt like I was 25 again. Had to sleep in my car before driving. Great time.

Kind of do this now, but not as a business. Just my garage. But a bunch of 80s/90s console games, a karaoke station for a bunch of 80s/90s/00s songs, old music videos on the TV when not watching pre-2000 movies, and sometimes friends bring friends who ..refuse to leave because its so much fun.
