It isn't this woman
I saw this image earlier, and it's just not true. Sure, she looks a little whiny and she's easy to laugh at, but...she showed up, fought like hell, cared, and no doubt wiped up her tears and is already passionately discussing what to do next. She is what democracies need to survive.
It isn't these guys either
Sure they're total douchebags, and we can smell the Axe body spray and date rape from here, but they're just living the dream they fought for, baby. Like the woman above, they cared enough to show up, put in the hours, and work hard for the views they support.
It isn't this guy
He just saw an opportunity and took it. And whatever other faults he may or may not have, he's never once lied about who he is or tried to hide it.
And it isn't this woman
I know a lot of people here don't like her, but she didn't rig the primary, and she didn't cheat the system. She just ran a lackluster campaign.
The problem is these folks
Just 55% of eligible voters did so this year (http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/11/politics/popular-vote-turnout-2016/).
They don't have a party, they don't have a state...and they don't have an excuse
If 'none of the above' was a voting option, it would have won by the largest electoral margin since 1980.
The only thing is, 'none of the above' isn't an option.
So instead of getting off their asses to go try and make a change, they stay home
And try to tell the rest of us some bullshit about how it doesn't matter, and doesn't change anything, and it's all rigged.
*The system isn't rigged*. Trump didn't buy his win, and Hillary didn't pay 3 million more people to vote for her than Bernie. Sorry. I know it's easier to tell yourself that than 'we tried our hardest, but still lost', but that doesn't make it true.
Newsflash: if you never vote, things will never change
When 2018 and 2020 roll around, GET OFF YOUR ASS AND VOTE. Or don't. I'm not the boss of you. But you can sure as shit bet that the person who wins is the one who convinces the most people to do just that.
CaptOBrienBeard
"None of These Candidates" is a ballot option in Nevada. It's not an effective choice, as the runner-up will win, but I enjoy its existence.
deytookerjers
The problem isn't people who don't vote. It's people (myself included) who are too lazy to provide a worthy candidate.
TheBelcherKids
krapmyself
But what's worse? People not voting, or people not knowing what they are voting for?
BattloidKouji
IMHO, people not voting. Skin in the game, and all that.
P50Juan
I was going to upvote, then I was going to downvote...in the end I gave up and just went on to the next post...
NotAnIroningBoard
Yeah, I don't want my own conclusion, I want you to force your opinion upon me
shadowservant
imgar
You assume we all think HRC ran a lackluster campaign. Ok...
cainplay
Axe body spray and date rape?! You sir, are an asshole!
abaconification
Those boys are too rich for axe
Skarwolf
Same with Canada. Thats why douche trudeau got in. Only 60% voted. Lil more then half that voted liberal.
nope6699
Imgurs ignorance to politics is disgusting imo. Grow up and face it, it's an important topic that follows you 24h a day your whole life.
PlatypusPowersActivate
-1 for saying trump has never lied about himself....are you fucking kidding me?
shawnemack
Nicely done.
lmGod
Inb4 "I didn't vote and the electoral college still chose a president"
Bobmonkey07
Except that due to Electoral college, people voting against the major cities in their state basically don't matter IE Republican in NY/CA/MD
CigaretteMan
Same with democrats in the deep south and sparsely populated western states. Probably less of them, but still.
CountBackwardsFrom10
Looks like the face he makes when he cums. Would still smash. http://imgur.com/ZwAPLE7
aDefenseless9yearOldGirl
When you can only vote on which limb gets cut off, abstaining from voting doesn't matter.
TheAngreyToaster
In Australia you get fined if you don't vote.
Debiandog
America likes the freedom to fuck themselves and it not cost anything
andtheseashalltell
In Australia you also cut way back on firearms ownership after one mass shooting.
petgoats
Because when they see a problem they fix it? I mean, how's that bad?
andtheseashalltell
No, it's great. I'm just saying sadly that's unlikely to be a solution here.
petgoats
Yeah, American Culture is very strange.
Raandy
I like how you call the Hillary supporter passionate but the Trump supporter D-bags. That might be your other problem.
sorryiasked
So if all of those people voted for Trump, how would you react?
BigVigilante
It's almost as if they're upset that the presidency has been taken over by a mentally defective racist asshole.
purebordem
I'm sick of hearing if you didn't vote your part of the problem. Listen fuckster we have the right to vote and the right not to vote as well
purebordem
This isn't north Korea where you are made and forced to vote. By continuing to vote for the same people you are going to perpetuate the
purebordem
Problems that everyone bitches about. Voting third party is of course an option but if you don't agree with them either then don't vote.
purebordem
We are in this shit hole of a political system because people are willing to comprise themselves so they feel they belong to something
purebordem
Stand-up for yourself and be you, be active about it yes, but don't pigeon hole yourself because you feel the need to vote.
purebordem
If the parties want to get more votes from non voters then they need to win them over which apparently no one is doing. I see opportunity
BlankhasdiedofDysentery
Actually None if the Above was very specifically an option in Nevada.
mcbotulism
Bull fuckin' shit she didn't rig the primary.
buckeyes995
The DNC definitely played favorites but there was no actual vote rigging
Sluggingforward
Allegedly
buckeyes995
Dude if she committed voter fraud she would've done it in the general election, which was way closer than the primary
Sluggingforward
Why not both? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
BroteinSupplements
Either way, funny how all the liberals assume people who didn't vote would automatically vote for Hillary.
seamusmcfly
Well she did get the majority of the vote share though. So more voters would definitely help her.
BroteinSupplements
Totally, not like any Trump voters stayed home because they thought he was going to lose anyway. Thing is he got votes where it mattered.
ThisWorldMakesMeSad
Oh I have to explain this again? I didn't vote because in my state my vote means LITERALLY nothing unless I vote Republican.
BattloidKouji
I agree. the electoral college disinfranchises A LOT of people. I vote D (insert joke here) in CT but my R friends don't bother (1)
BattloidKouji
because it won't matter in the national election. (2)
ThisWorldMakesMeSad
It'd be different if we lived in a swing state but we don't. At least I don't.
JaxiTaxi
I have a hard time faulting people for not voting when they are not adequately represented by the candidates.
LRWerewolf
If you don't vote, things won't change. If you do vote, things won't change. I did vote though this year -- write in vote for "a steaming
LRWerewolf
pile of shit" so that I'd win no matter what.

I voted for my local stuff.. because honestly I can't remember something a president did to fuck me or my family since obamacare
Mentallywoozy
Maybe ppl didn't care who won and just because your candidate lost doesn't mean we failed.
Mentallywoozy
Granted, non voters have no right to bitch about who the President is but stop shaming people for their decisions because you're sad.
evilblackdog
I'm of the opinion that if you're too lazy to go out and vote it's a good thing you're not choosing our next leader.
BattloidKouji
there were hour long lines at some polling places. I can understand if it's 15 min like it was for me, but you can't say that's not a (1)
BattloidKouji
barrier to voting. some people probably just didn't have the time to wait in line like that. we need to change election day to a weekend.(2)
BadMrFrosty
I was with you until "She didn't rig the primary".
NewToTheEnterwbs
Yup and the explanation he serves up is the same one the side that rigged it gave. It was rigged and it was a joint effort. Please don't.
LionHeart31337
If the dnc rigged the primary, then Wikileaks, the FBI, and Russia rigged the general.
MarlboromanMat
I agree. Any respect I had for the DNC was lost when it was revealed Crooked Hillary had defrauded Bernie out of a fair selection process.
drOctopi
Why you are wrong: https://youtu.be/Z-IhRL8OwO4
BadMrFrosty
I didn't hear what she said because I couldn't hear her over her teeth.
vox666
All good points but it didn't prove anything about her rigging or not rigging
iixsephirothvii
I like how she uses actual legit points to her arguments. Unlike that angry bitch from The Blaze that just hates everything not republican
andtheseashalltell
Allow me to demonstrate conclusively how she did not in fact rig it. 1/4
andtheseashalltell
3. He never led in a poll, he was never within 5 points, and 2842/4763 delegates. Even if he won all 712 superdelegates, he still lost. 4/4.
excit3d
It's amazing that Bernie Sanders got more than 5% of the vote, and we should be declaring victory for him getting as far as he did!
NotShibaNoSir
I wouldn't say SHE rigged it, but she received unfair preferential treatment from the establishment that affected the outcome.
excit3d
As well as many in the establishment media writing articles dismissing Bernie, leading to people thinking he couldn't win a general election
NotShibaNoSir
Agreed. It was a concerted effort from multiple people
andtheseashalltell
2. She won 9 of the 10 largest states, 15 of the largest 20, and 34 contests to 23. He won caucuses and very white areas only. 3/4
andtheseashalltell
1. She beat him 16,914,722 (55.2%) to 13,206,428 (43.1%) - a difference of 3 million votes out of 30 million cast. 2/4
Quizzlescoop
Explain 1.5 million uncounted Bernie votes in California primary then =.=
