Who cares. They'll still vote for him. VOTE ANYWAY.

And I’m sure he won’t pay his bills to Traverse City, MI either 🙄😒

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I wish we had rallies in California but we’re not a swing state. We’re the schwing state.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

you dont have all the fucking stupid commercials though

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Not for nothing, but actually getting musicians to perform (instead of just stealing the music of people who don't support you) is bound to attract *some* people who might otherwise be uninterested.

Still, this probably triggers the shit out of Trump. Pathetic little narcissist that he is.

2 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

It's not a concert.

Trumps last three rallies still don’t add up to this one rally!!

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Republican: “that’s all AI and if it’s not, they’re all just paid actors.” He says at a Trump rally while surrounded by paid actors as people are leaving halfway through while he shares his 8th AI generated image of the day of Trump stopping the 9/11 attack single handedly.

I expected more white hoods. They must be saving that attire for the after-party.

Can trump even do an event in Houston or does he still owe the city/workers money from 2016?

Fuck yeah Willie Nelson

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm shocked they allow them to leave.

They were lined up to get in:

You didn't state what side this ethnically diverse, non-cult-clad line of people is queuing for.

2 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Ha, i was all "wait, which rally is this then" - only for the question to immediately answer itself once the video started.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Damn, and GRB is a couple blocks away from that stadium! The line must have been insane, and I'm still jealous because how amazing would that be.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

You had to reserve your admission and you received an online ticket, which I did, YAY! Only problem, there were over 1, 500,000 reserved for the event. Even with a ticket, it was first come first served. I didn’t make it in, but watched online.

This is how I always see america....but I grew up in northeastern nj...I now live in the deeep south and it's the other way....so sad, so scary, everyday I wish I could be myself, and not be judged or have to represent every other person that resembles me, in all my actions, words, clothing, car, house, etc etc etc oh and I like God as much as the next guy but these mfs here take their jesus stuff to that same level of culture shock as rolling up to the Taliban HQ or zionistville, Jerusalem.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They are like "not everybody treated their slaves badly" ppl, the "rebel flag is my heritage" ppl, the every asain is chinese, every Spanish speaking person is mexican ppl, the sometimes not even respond or acknowledge my existence when I say hello or good morning type ppl, LOL it's so wild, I actually just fake or conceal my disgust for trump and all of their support for him everyday so I'm able to make a living, but this shit is real. Real f**king INSANE!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That fucking shit stain caused traffic so bad in Austin it took me 3 hours to get home on my normal 40 minute commute. Last time the douche-weasel was here it took me three hours also.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Trump was in Michigan.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He was at the Austin airport then did Joe Rogan interview before going to Michigan.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looks like a pig sty to me

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Y'know how we can tell them apart at a glance? One event is full of people. Just people. Random people. The other? Nearly uniform. A sea of red hats.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The annoying orange was supposedly in Austin today, disrupting traffic and bringing the racists. Took me an hour to get home.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Ugh... I live near Traverse. Fuck all of them. They deserve to walk. Maybe at least one will finally realize he doesn't give a single runny turd about them. Unlikely, but...

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It blows my mind that he does stuff like this over and over again, and they still support him.

2 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

See, Trump isn't trying to make the world a better place for them. He's trying to make the world a worse place for the 'type of people' they hate. Trump and Kamala have two entirely different agendas. Which is why, despite every bad thing Trump does, they'll still vote for him

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If they give up now, they'd have to admit they were wrong. The pandemic proved that most of them would rather die.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Trump is gonna be up all night angry tweeting in jealousy of the turnout.

I went to a Trump event in 2015, like one of his early ones because he came to the state fair and I was there anyway, so I thought fuck it, let's go her the dude talk and see what his bag is.

About 20 mins after was to scheduled to be on stage, a campaign person came out to announce his plane had officially touched down at the airport. So many people left immediately like, wtf what a dick.

By the time he got there, there was so much space to walk back in after we rode rides and shit.

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

We still left again About 20-30 mins into the speech because I just couldn't take the mindless babble anymore

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

They are uneducated, uninformed, and live in the hinterlands. Homeschooling for two generations or more and don't actually believe in america. If you dropped them in a city, they would have a heart attack.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

And remember, these people aren't dumb, just uneducated and it is easier to get a progressive country using education instead of hate. So stay friendly with people who are not like you, they might start listening to you. Work together, don't fight.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Always amazed at how uniformly white Trump's rallies are.

2 years ago | Likes 593 Dislikes 2

there's nothing to be amazed at it totally tracks

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just moved out of the town where this rally was held. The joke goes that you’d find more diversity at a klan rally.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My dad grew up in super rural farmland Pennsylvania and never meshed with that scene so he got out early and for good. When we went back to his hometown to visit his family after I was born and about 4-5 years old we were at the town market/small local festival and my parents say I asked "Where are all the other people?" They looked around at a packed venue, confused, and after a few followup questions realize I'm asking why everyone is white.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

But anyone who isn't they make sure to seat right behind the podium so they're in camera, so they can create a veneer of diverse support.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Too dangerous to show up black, it's full of police.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'm never amazed at how uniformly white Trump's rallies are.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'm way more amazed when someone who isn't white shows up

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His rallies can be like a new version of "Where's Wally", where you have to find the non-white person.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not amazed at all, it's pretty obvious.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but the media tells us that he's doing well with black and Hispanic voters, so don't believe your lying eyes!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean its basically a Klan rally for the Grand Wizard. Anyone non-white standing there is as dumb as the rest of them.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think I see a black guy.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I usually place where's Waldo with trying to find a non white person at videos of Trump rallies.

It's a pretty challenging little game

So, I grew up in NYC, went to public schools in Manhattan (Elementary/JHS and high school) and went to college in upstate NY (a SUNY school as NYC kids are wont to do)... and the thing that freaked me out was how white the schools were, how white the local communities were... I was used to seeing a United Colors of Beneton everywhere I went...

It made me very observant to places that did not have diverse people in them, why weren't they diverse?

2 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 3

I’m from the southern tier of WNY and yeah, that state has a lot of white in it. And a lot of stars and bars. I wish more of the state was like the cities.

I lived, for a summer, in Corning, and having access to a real super-supermarket, was pretty epic (Wegman's, right off route 17, now I86)...

It is really pretty, but, I would be uncomfortable if I were a person of color.

Aw fuck. I liked that guy. Well... cross another one off the list.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Maybe try actually reading it first.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did. He doesn't want to be "divisive" by supporting a competent candidate over a fascist. How noble.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, if you read it, it's not as damning as it sounds at first glance.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I guess we'll find out in about 10 days if it pays off or not, but the amount of time Harris is spending in Texas is a hell of a gamble.

2 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 3

Not necessarily, if the enthusiasm can push the Democratic candidate to flip Ted Cruz's seat. The legislature is going to be close, and I think they need all the help they can get.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

She could hardly have spent more time in swing states. At a certain point, news about a 30K-person rally in Houston is better for the campaign than whatever the 20th event in Philadelphia would look like.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Allred defeating Cruz is one of the only ways the Senate stays blue.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I never understand why they spend any time or money in these states. I guess they still spend a majority of of their time and money in swing states, but anything else is a waste.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

With this type of publicity though, I think it gives people elsewhere more hope and more impetus to get out and vote. If she can draw this many in *texas*... kinda thing.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The progressives in states like Texas do like to imagine that we're not entirely forgotten.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Down ballot elections matter just as much (if not more) than the presidential race. So you want people motivated to vote even in red/purple areas.

Especially with the senate/house being as close as they are. And especially since these swing states are where you can find Republican governments passing heinous laws if they get the chance.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

If texas flips that’s it.

2 years ago | Likes 160 Dislikes 2

Unfortunately … looks very unlikely In this election … Trump has a bigger lead there than any of the ~6 battleground states rhat everone Is focused on

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everyone I have to work with is convinced Texas won't flip. But god damnit I will vote to help flip this state.

2 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

It can. Almost did last time. And gerrymandering is the only reason it's reps aren't more purple.

2 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

The corrupt Texas AG will never allow that to happen. Remember after 2020 he bragged that he got hundreds of thousands of votes thrown out on technicalities.

Texas isn't going to break for Harris.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 31

Yeah even if Texas does Abbott and Paxton aren't going to allow it and steal the vote. Sorry if that goes against the Imgur narrative.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I could spend all day saying bad things about Abbott, but he wouldn't have any success stealing the election if there was a clear Harris victory and he wouldn't care enough to try.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe he won't have success but if you think he's not going to try then good luck to ya!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We’re fucking trying!!

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

I'm all for her campaigning there and Texas Democrats should be proud of their record! But that doesn't mean Texas is likely to break for Harris.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it's more purple than people think, maybe not this year, beto was a moron the las ttime.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I'm just saying Harris is behind in polls by like 8 points. There are a few swing states, but Texas isn't one of them.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know why you're downvoted, you're right. It's incredibly unlikely anyway.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No it will flip to save abortion rights from all the backwards fuks in our government

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It will not flip for Harris. I'd be amazing, but no.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably not but there's hope. Did you know there's more people registered Democrat than Republican in Texas? It's just all the people registered as independent or non-partisan there's tend to still vote red.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

The urban areas are already purple. You get rid of gerrymandering and whoa Nelly!

2 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

Gerrymandering doesn't affect federal elentions.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 10

*specifically, it doesn't affect the senate and presidency. It very much affects the house. Same at the state level vis a vis governor, senate, and house

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure I'm this context we are talking about the president.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Less gerrymandering for statewide offices and more voter suppression and discouragement. Paxton said that Houston mailing out applications for mail-in ballots probably secured the election for TFG. With everyone motivated, there's a real chance of pruple Texas.
