This reminds me of years ago on a different meme site there was a user who complained that everyone on the site upvoted the dumbest things possible to the front page. To prove it he posted a photo of the most boring, generic brick wall you can imagine along with this rant of theirs. The post quickly made it to the front page. They then reposted the photo a day or two later to further prove their point. It of course ended up making it to the front page as well.
