This would be me in that interview

It was a free jersey. They gave it to me. (And I don't give a f..k about football). 😄

1 month ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

"Is there a point to this questioning now?" (I bet he doesn't know there's a world cup going on)

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That interviewer was handled correctly. (knob) 😊👍

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Leave the dude alone!

1 month ago | Likes 232 Dislikes 5

Yea, this is just mean

1 month ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Yeah, man. Free jersey is a free jersey.

1 month ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 0

Seriously, he just got a free jersey and is wanting to participate

1 month ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

After, like, the second question the interviewer should have read the room and simply said, "Thank you for your time, sir. Have a great day. Bafana bafana."

1 month ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

It's a skit.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

He just hopes both teams have fun!

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I knew there was some inept journalists at the World cup (looking at you, Stephen Smith),but I was not prepared for inept supporters. The interviewer should have stopped this half way in tho. In fact, this clip should be shown in press schools.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

*questions got worse with every question

1 month ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 1

Yeah, the interview kept getting better

1 month ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I can't remember the guys name, be he's a YouTube comedian and i LOVE his whole interview for a job bit he's so brilliant

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I saw a video last night, the guy was asking New Yorkers wearing Knicks gear if they were casual or die hard, and everyone said they were die hard fans. And then he asked them where Jalen Brunson, the finals MVP, went to college....and like 50% had no idea. My mom, who doesn't care two shits about sports knows about Villanova and the Nova Knicks, because I talk her ear off... Basically, I want to give those Knicks fans, and this dude grace. Sports are fun, but you don't need to know the details!

Added context helps makes the games more meaningful for the fans who are invested, but I can also watch Uruguay vs. Cape Verde, and enjoy it for being a fun game, and Cape Verde came back to tie it in the end.

But it's cool to note that the Cape Verde goalie is 40 years old, and has 8 saves so far...setting records for being the oldest first time participant in a World Cup, plus, his incredible game against Spain. Context helps for me, but the games are fun regardless!!

This borders on harassment.

Ah, oké. So, it's fake. But he's good at faking it. 😄

1 month ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I was gonna say, has to be acting for how long it went on. Someone who really just was there for a free shirt and that clueless wouldn’t have kept the interview going

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's drunk me at bar when someone I used to know telling me about something I did before when I was drunk.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is GOLD!

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Reminds me of a clip with a similar interviewee that is asked about whether he would go to prison for his father. Sadly, I cannot find it.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Poor guy.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, Finland holds one of the longest streaks of unsuccessful World Cup qualification campaigns in football history, having fallen short in over 20 consecutive attempts. So, my country is not there.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nice cover story, but we all know Finland doesn't actually exist.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

HE SAID "free jersey free tickets I take" what's not to understand?

1 month ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Go sport!

1 month ago | Likes 149 Dislikes 5

Yeah i have no skin in the game, dont know all the rules, but I've been enjoying watching it

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Did the sports ball go?

1 month ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 5

It sure went!

1 month ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

Haha nice

I'm not eating that.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm not sure he knew there were any sports on. Can he have some free shit now?

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s like he’s forcing an agenda against the dude

1 month ago | Likes 90 Dislikes 5

I respect the guy for having none of it. more people should. my answer to getting a camera shoved in my face while being asked "who am I voting for" by college kids at Octoberfest was FUCK YOU.

1 month ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

He does skits

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you love the band, name 5 songs

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It's almost as if he's a journalist, trying to figure out what's going on by way of his trade: Asking questions.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 23

That’s not a journalist, he’s being a racist POS and pushing his conclusions onto him

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Was "Say Bafana Bafana." a question, in your opinion?

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This is not just asking questions. He's trying to lead the man into a specific answer that he wants so he can clip just that bit.

1 month ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Why are they so persistently harassing him? I’m gonna get one of those jerseys in solidarity with this man only.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The guy was quite polite given he doesn't even seem to really like soccer that much and has no awareness.

1 month ago | Likes 280 Dislikes 2

True NPC energy

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I also like buying those jerseys because they get sold quite cheaply and comfortable. I do not care for futbol at all.

1 month ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 2

I get it. buy a shirt for the day. Cousin got us tickets to Boca Jr. My wife bought a shirt for the day very recently after learning "that's a team". Still a very fun day for her.

1 month ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

"I just hope both teams have fun

1 month ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

If that's who I think it is, the dude does skits. I dont think this is real.

1 month ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

First of all, what's his native tongue? He speaks English well enough, but he's struggling with the logic. If this was supposed to make him look bad, I came away with a different take. If nothing else, he was polite.

1 month ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

It's a skit.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is how most US fans are right now. We don't know shit about fuck, but go team!

1 month ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 6

I respect it. I lived in South Korea for a year but am ready to jump in and support South Korea at a moments notice without knowing a single fact about who is on the squad or how thy are doing. Crowds are quantity over quality. it's more fun when more people turn up to support your team

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah sportball! Kick that bat! Throw the goal! Score all the yards! Sports!

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was just objectively stupid having the States host the World Cup.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A British guy here in NL asked me why Americans aren't into the world cup. I was like, "Mate, there's more than 300 million of us. No way we'd all fit." Fine that you call it a "world cup" but if it was really as big as the world I'd be able to see it from here.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

"Bafana Bafana!"
"Gesundheit bro, you might wanna get that shit checked out, anyway, I'm rooting for yellow, who you got?"

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was in a Korean restaurant in Dallas while the Mexico Vs Korea game was on. Lots of people cheering on either side. Near the end, I was like "is the score really going to be 1-0? That's so much running for that." lol

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Well, my kids play soccer and we have watched the local Tampa Bay Rowdies once, but I can't even get my kids to watch more than 5 minutes. Half the problem is, there are different clubs and leagues, so unless you have a REALLY good team and nothing else, no one knows about you. I mean, the Rowdies are undefeated so far this season, but that will get overshadowed by the Rays (baseball), the Lightning (hockey) and the Bucs (football).

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Where did you end up going? I wanted to go to a Korean restaurant but my wife unfortunately didn't get out of work on time so we watched from home, but are actually about to go check out one of the Korean BBQs I was eyeing. Do you recommend where you went?

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We went to a place called Sea Pot. It's actually in Plano, but I figured more people would know Dallas, than Plano. Yeah, it was really good. I think the price was 32 a person for all you can eat hot pot or Korean bbq, and for 40 a person you got all you can eat both. Really good and really fun. The server was really nice. Pricey though, especially if you have more than 2 people. Not something I'm gonna go to on a whim. It's gotta be a special occasion.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's so incredibly rare that we aren't being hyper competitive you all should soak it up

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This guy didnt even have 'go team' going for him.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That depends. Does that team want to win? If so, then he's all for them winning.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would be 100% with this guy if I was in a similar situation. Hope all teams have a good time, no matter who wins. Go sports!

Elmo would like a word

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Elon Musk or the original? Also, what does he have to do with it? Please explain

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Sesame street Elmo said he wished both teams in the NBA finals had fun, but as a new Yorker, Elmo needed to pick a side. Thus the city turned on Elmo. But Elmo learnt his lesson, and supports team USA for world cup.
