Then we decided buybacks magically no longer counted as market manipulation and legalized it, and now corporations spend $200B to goose their stock price for a week before all that stock value dissipates and they're back to where they were before they spent the money while workers get nothing.

Milk is only that much now because they do forced dumps to keep it scarce. Hell we have enough cheese in storage right now to not make any for at least a year and most wouldn't need to charge extra for it. It's all a scam, pay people more, end of story.

I've seen regular ass employees go from folding shirts to being a manager in less than two years. They basically only promote from within the company, so every manager in the floor has done at least 50% of the "menial" jobs on the floor. It's a great company.
I am saving this video till later play for HR when it comes time for my review. I have literally trained myself in my position and nobody else in the store trained me. I will be asking for a substantial increase in pay. If not, then I will already have had another job lined up. I was planning on leaving anyway. So even if all costs were passed directly to customers, doubling the wages of those employees would only mean a 7% increase in the price of goods. So, even keeping profit margins the same, there's no $40 milk, it would only be a marginal increase.
Every, and I mean EVERY study that looks at better treatment of workers vs output says that a happy employees are generally the best employees. It is cheaper to treat your employees right. But some shitty billionaires thinks you have not earned that...
