And there’s still no safeguards in place to prevent him from interfering again in 2028.

Biden won 2020
Trump won 2024

Any fraud was of such a minuscule amount that it didn’t affect the overall outcome. That’s what all of the courts found in the 2020 election ( even Trump’s AG reached that conclusion )

Anyone who disagrees with the outcome of either election is a conspiracy theorist IMO.

That’s not to say that money didn’t have an influence. Just like advertising in general.. more money spent affects outcomes. But nobody hacked the system / servers and changed votes!

All elections should be counted multiple times with different methodologies that can’t interact with each other and the results should roughly match.

this is why they hand count such large samples of each district's physical ballots and then compare that number to the digital count. if the two don't match within a slim margin of error then that district is flagged for a full audit.

this fail-safe was what legal experts of election fraud repeatedly pointed to in dismissing Trump's claims of widespread interference, so how is this any different? in all those districts why was nothing flagged? how is there no evidence?

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's not different at all. All the reasons the 2020 election couldn't have been stolen are also true about 2024. People just don't want to believe it, because telling themselves it was stolen feels better than admitting 77 million Americans support Trump.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

caught saying that if Trump didn't win he'd be going to jail. but now wondering if he was speaking of Trump or himself. i always figured he was speaking about himself but there was a real benefit to keeping Trump in office and out of prison, too.

Election Truth Alliance has been working on this for a while. They were recently told in court that there's nothing to be done because the election was certified

This past weekend, a German state election went to the actual nazis in a landslide. Guess who just happened to be on hand (Musk,) and who immediately congratulated (Trump.) Not saying it's not a shit state full of extremist idiots groomed by Maga, who take a disturbing amount of trouble to meddle abroad for being so "America First." But it was still very sus.

I agree that this needs to be investigated because those odds are wild, but I'm not altogether comfortable with the certainty. The same thing could be achieved by simply suppressing the vote (illegally purging voter rolls, poisoned postcards, opting to simply not count provisional ballots) which we absolutely know that they did, in fact, do. https://www.laprogressive.com/election-and-campaigns/vote-suppression-won (apologies for the AI generated image, the author had no say in it)

Imgur's front page should be full of strategy about how to prevent this from happening. People taking care of each other, driving them to voting locations, handing out buckets to sit on while waiting, up to date reliable information, sites where people can ask "what can I do" and official "here's what you can do" advice. Like, organize on grass roots level like crazy. To prove voter fraud or debunk bullshit, collaborate on high quality information, help pay hosting of said information etc.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They altered machine data and part of it was that they used fake counties in every swing state to change the numbers.

The same. This is the product of people who don't understand anything about computers and think they're magic wanting really hard to believe that there aren't 77 million Nazis in America when there absolutely are.

There are ways to hack air gapped machines. Voting machines are made by the lowest bidder, and anyone who's ever worked US Gov jobs knows that outside of military/3 letter agencies, security is a joke. This comment explains a lot more, with some sources instead of people crying "it's not possible bro trust me". /gallery/d9IXUyU/comment/2511659843

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The same way. OP is talking out of his ass.

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

it's almost as if he had access to an AI that could generate backstory for millions of fabricated voters and unlimited access to all of the databases where these records would be stored ahead of the election. oh... but then we probaly would have seen a record number of single bullet ballots.. oh.. yeah.. huh.

2 weeks ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 4

Your statement is literally nonsense. You think voters need an AI-generated backstory? No, they just need to EXIST. Voting machines aren't hooked up to the internet. Data is tabulated locally. This is not something you can hack without physical access to thousands of individual machines.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You exist for the purpose of voting if you are in 3-4 databases to provide proof of residency in your precinct and birthplace. The same DBs are used to cross check contested votes. Unless you verify in person the insertions would not be found. If you have unlimited access and funds, why stop at the minimum db required?

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That's not at all how any of that works. And you have no remotely plausible explanation for how offline machines would be magically hacked, or how election workers would NOT notice there being thousands more votes than there were voters. You are recycling discredited right-wing election conspiracies.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please educate me on how this would not be possible. The ballot scanners and all of your offline equipment are comparing those ballots against what again? A precinct voter roll right? At the voting office their main function is to confirm you are in the right location to vote. So if they are all fed inflated voter rolls from compromised source data how are you catching it? The only way would be to track down a significant portion of the bullet ballot votes and determine that person exists.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes because every voter always fills their entire backstory to the voting machines? This makes no sense.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

just kinda amazed when you show up the voting booth and they know your name, dob and address eh? Someone in the back just fukn-furiously shaking a magic 8 ball and writing it down 2 seconds before ya hit the door?

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah in Finland I go to my local library to vote. I first get a letter saying I'm elgible and when and where it is along with other instructions. I go there, I show my ID, they'll check I'm on the list of residents of my local area, and they let me go fill my ballot. The government that organizes the elections obviously has my name, DoB/social security number, and address.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So is the point that Elon/GOP created a bunch of new citizens, added them to voter registration DB, issued a bunch of fake IDs, and then a huge number of people in on the scam visited several voting sites with different IDs voting for Trump? That sounds like a serious conspiracy. Any proof?

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

The math itself is absolute bullshit. Sweeping all the swing states is all but guaranteed if the national average swings just a couple of points either way. This should be absolutely obvious to anyone even passingly familiar with electoral math.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 7

No, because there aren't any. There is literally zero evidence for it, not even any remotely plausible explanation. It's pure bullshit.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: All the reasons that the 2020 election could not have been stolen were still 100% true for 2024. I know people want to tell themselves it was stolen because that feels better than admitting we've got 75 million Nazis in the country, but one of those is the truth and the other isn't.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

There are none.

2 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 11

If they did their job properly there would be no evidence other than the results would there? Don't worry about the voting machines with basic security hooked up to starlink. That is just a billionaire innocently helping democracy.

2 weeks ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

There are literally no voting machines hooked up to a Starlink. There are no voting machines which are internet connected AT ALL. Please don't go around lying.

Also, voting machines are managed at the local and county level. You would need THOUSANDS of people across the country in on any such conspiracy.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Voting tabulators are not connected to the Internet in most cases. The ones that are, are connected briefly AFTER voting is over, to transmit their results, but also print their results locally for cross-comparison. Internet connection in polls is primarily used on a separate machine to access voter registration data upon check in - if you have voted you may remember checking in, getting your ballot, and then putting your completed ballot through a tabulator machine once you’re done.

There would be hundreds, if not thousands, of people involved in an effort spanning that many counties in that many states. Plus, hundreds more whose job it is to spot and call out fraud. Even assuming the civil servants are over-burdened, outsmarted, or just lazy, the absence of any credible reporting of fraud is the answer.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

There is always something left behind. An errant log, a data trace, decryption keys, an engineer or AI agent that can be investigated. It's not possible for this to have been completely covered up. Plus, this happened while Biden was in office. I doubt his election security guys would miss or let it go.

A group of computer science professors and IT security experts from universities throughout the US wrote an open letter to Harris in '24 and urged her to demand a recount because they were certain that the outcome had been manipulated. They point out that we know for a fact of serious security breaches happened in '22 & '23, when trump operatives obtained copies of voting machine software. They explain … https://freespeechforpeople.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/letter-to-vp-harris-111324-1.pdf

2 weeks ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 1

Of course there should be recounts and investigations. But we also do know, and the letter makes reference to, the actual and very real ways in which Elon and his PAC did in fact just buy votes in swing states the old fashioned way that's been illegal forever: raffles, giveaways, cash offers. He got in trouble for it and it received news coverage at the time. They didn't need a Tom Clancy-worthy plan to get us here.

2 weeks ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Yup, let's not forget Musk literally gave random people 1M dollars for them having voted Trump. Which is illegal.

2 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

how easy it would be to use such copies to create working replicas of voting machines in order to find vulnerabilities or even decompile the software to study the source code, and then design malware that could be installed by trump allies with access to these machines. It follows that the conspiracy theory is not "they committed electronic election fraud" but rather "they had copies of the software and the means to commit massive election fraud, but didn't go through with it for some reason."

2 weeks ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

I’m with you. There is none. The whole point of those machines is to be super basic scam-trons NOT connected to the internet.

No, there aren't. "We think these numbers don't look the way we expected them to" is not actual evidence, especially when you assume that the numbers being "right" means that you win. This is the same level of "statistical analysis" that backed up the 60 lawsuits Trump lost over 2020.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

https://electiontruthalliance.org/legal/pennsylvania-legal-summary/

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

None. It's a conspiracy theory. There's no need to steal elections like this when you have effectively chosen your voting pool and screwed over everyone else. Bottom line, Harris ran an ineffective campaign, and the DNC/Biden kneecapped her from the start.

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 11

The actual conspiracy theory goes like this: Despite the fact that trump operatives obtained copies of voting machine software from several states in 2022 and '23, and trump's allies within and outside the US had plenty of time to set up replicas or decompile the code, search for vulnerabilities, and develop malware that could be easily installed by trump allies with access to the real machines, they didn't go through with this because they suddenly, magically grew a conscience or whatever.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

See https://freespeechforpeople.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/letter-to-vp-harris-111324-1.pdf for the opinion of a group of IT security experts and professors of computer science and engineering.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Harris was filling stadiums where Trump couldn't fill the front row.

He was leaving his supporters at rallies stranded in the middle of nowhere.

He began an insurrection with the goal of overturning our democracy while people chanted "Hang Mike Pence".

We has multiple convictions, stole classified docs, and destroyed evidence; and would have been prosecuted if he lost.

He said he won because Elon really knows those vote counting computers. You really think Trump won fairly?

2 weeks ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Still, you should present hard proof, or you're no better than MAGA hats crying with Trump about "we we're winning until the mail-in votes started coming in and the slope changed waa".

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

So let me be clear. Dems need to win. But you'll have to choose between two strategies: Repeat unverified claims until it becomes the truth, or construct proper arguments with best possible sources to convince the swing voters. It's not exactly my fight. But I have some sympathy because I'd rather not see an ally turn into an idiocratic christo-fascist country. Making the best argument you can make helps you, unless you work for someone who wants to make the idiocracy inevitable.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It doesn't really matter. In election security, this post would be considered stupid. You don't claim election fraud based on the result, you make the claim based on actual evidence of election fraud.

2 weeks ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 14

But in a non-bought country, shit like THIS would warrant an investigation all by themselves;

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You could, but you wouldn't do it with blind statistics that assume that each state result is independent of every other state's result. States tend to move together. What this is calling 50 quintillion to 1 or whatever is actually what you expect to see and do see in real life. When you lose.

2 weeks ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 4

Think I counted 9 groups of zeros, so 9-1=8 octillion.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Seems to me that, basically, these are the same odds for any other possible result. So, 87 and 1, 86 and 2 etc…

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Definitely not. There are 87 different ways to go 86 and 1. There are 87*86=7482 ways to go 85 and 2; 635,970 ways to 84 and 3. There is only one winning permutation of 87 and 0.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ah, yes! I was thinking of the odds of one specific 1 and 87, not any possible 1 with the remaining 87. Now I really wonder if this makes any sense at all. But clearly you are right!

What do you think constitutes evidence of election fraud if not incredibly suspicious results?

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Like if there were 300,000 votes for Agolf Twitler in a riding with 299,000 people that's literally a result that is evidence of election fraud, so maybe think before saying stupid shit on the internet.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Actual fraud being committed... So like if we found the same person voting more than once, if we found someone dead voting, if we found evidence of tampering with voting machine, documentation of votes being thrown out. There's a number of different types of fraud/evidence. But not liking the numbers isn't actual evidence of fraud.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's not a rebuttal. I answered your question. At no point did I defend Republicans. I'm just pointing out that not liking the results is not evidence, if there's actual evidence, then ok, jesus...

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So extremely improbable results, a company that heavily supports Trump suddenly buying out the majority of vote counting machines during an election year, emergency updates 2 days before the election that bypass required review, with no notes as to what the updates do, Trump himself saying "Elon knows those voting computers very well and we ended up winning Pennsylvania in a landslide" none of that makes you suspect fraud? They aren't going to come out and tell you it happened.Reasonable assumpt
