So...how many times has she been burned even when "respecting" the fire?

It's a fire prop, not a blade. There is no temper to fuck up.

Run brother. Fire consumes all, will burn itself out, leave you with cancer.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

This is a great line, but it's also definitely not how fire works.

1 month ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 4

I was just thinking that. You better respect fire because fire doesn't give a shit about you or your respect. It will burn you and everything around you at the slightest convenience.

It will also cook your dinner and heat your house.

Fire and water are EACH equal parts life giving and life taking, you are the land and the you breathe the air

wow, that's hot s-word

The pen is mightier than the sword

+3 fire damage

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

huh, I don't know of any language where fire is feminine. Interesting choice.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I would be worried about presuming fires gender, seems like a good way to risk disrespect if you get it wrong

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right i get this sounds deep and that is how you get the likes on whatever platform you post it on but fire doesn't respect anything that is not how it works.

I don't think @op is here posting A.I slop. I've seen them around long enough to think better of them

Correct, no AI for me. Keep the degenerate in degenerate art

So is that a broad sword or a fella sword?

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think sword should be pronounced sword..

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Sord.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What do you use to burn in such a way?

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Various fuels in a wick material depending on location. This looks like naptha (aka camp fuel), but kerosene and paraffin are also common. A sword constructed for this purpose is used

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I was gonna say, poor sword, but if it's built for this then I guess uh... kinky sword?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Cheers - looks amazing

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think fire respects anyone

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

"And who are you?" she sternly spoke
To the one beneath the smoke
"Why, I'm fire", he replied
"And I love your solitude, I love your pride"

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

It's a metaphor honey, don't fuck around with fire and you won't get burned

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

She's...fucking around with fire. Doesn't matter if she respects it. Lighting a sword and swinging it around is not like using heat to cook your meals.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

And yes, people including her have been burned for starting and using fires.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Seems like she's doing a bit more than "fucking around," it's almost like she knows what she's doing!

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe it is just her style, but a curved fire sword seems to work better visually compared to a straight one.

1 month ago | Likes 130 Dislikes 2

Try it with a flamberge

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I agree, it's better visually. Or maybe it's katana bias haha

1 month ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 2

You cant have katana bias when katanas are just inherently cooler.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

That is *checks the textbook* yes. Textbook katana bias.

Katanas are not inherently cooler.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The video suggests they are, in fact, warmer.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nothing is straight in this clip

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Have you ever seen those warriors from Hammerfell?

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

curved. swords.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I wonder how well the fire sword thing works with blades that are unevenly thick through their length, specifically blades like the scimitar, falcion, kora, and kilij that have that broader tip

1 month ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Fire works with pretty much any blade shape. But if it's not a dramatically shaped blade you just kind of lose the shape in the fire. I've made a lot of scimitars because belly dancers love to balance them on their heads.

1 month ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Kora, which are from Nepal are particularly dramatically curved blades usually

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I'm not familiar with those, but it would be interesting. Once I worked hard to make a Kris, but once on fire might have well used a straight blade. But a lot of cutom props I make are more for the performer, the audience generally just sees the fire and performer

1 month ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I think the Kris demonstrates that the sort of average curve of the blade is more important once you set it on fire than the smaller, local shapes happening along the blade.
