They will never stop making these at this rate.

That's a staggering amount of money for an opening weekend

Who gives a shit?

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Hate all you want, no other franchise in history managed to escalate from stealing VCRs to mitigating global nuclear apocalypse. I love how "truck drivers are arming themselves with shotguns!!!" was a substantial plot point in the first one.

3 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

If we're not talking about only movies, there's also Saint's Row.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Really don't get the hate for the silly action movies. Not my thing but let people have their fuckin joy in this day and age, ffs

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

First movie: they're a street racing gang that robs transports. Tenth movie: They're the Avengers, in cars.

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

At this point, it feels a bit like The Walking Dead. New place, new enemies, but it's new places, new cars, new enemies.

Theatergoers: "talent recognizes talent" Critics: "yes and it isn't this"

Roger Ebert gave the first few 3 stars each and said of 2 Fast 2 Furious : “It doesn't have a brain in its head, but it's made with skill and style and, boy, is it fast and furious.”

Whatever gives Vin more money to make more Riddick movies, thats all I care about.

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

If it builds on the worldbuilding from Chronicles, then yes! But if they're just reskinning the dumpster fire of the 3rd film, then please no

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just ask him to, sweet-like.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s unapologetically owing it’s place as popcorn fuelled fantasy action. Everything has its place.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why should they stop making them? People waste their money on way dumber shit than fun movies with cool cars and explosions.

3 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

I have this weird little feeling of respect towards the Fast franchise. It knows exactly what it is, exactly who its target audience is, and just keeps on rolling.

3 years ago | Likes 414 Dislikes 4

I think vin diesel had paul walker killed. All for the $

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

+Hey it's one answer to "everything's a remake or based on a 50 y/o franchise." They're keeping a successful original franchise rolling — taking chances & writing their own stuff! It's a serial like the Flash Gordon flicks of old. There's nothing particularly stellar, but it's fun, and probably will inspire things in the future, just like ol' flash showed how fun running around on a spaceship & shooting things is.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It is hamburgers, and people make fun of it for not being steak. It is Little Caesars. It is a PB&J. It is a simple thing and it brings joy, and for some people, that is a bad thing.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You know what? That’s fair.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone who was the target audience for the first few films I hate to admit you are right, they shifted to a more generic target audience long ago

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sort of agree but I tried watching Fast 9 and turned it off. The level of ridiculousness is just a whole other level

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

And that's perfectly fine. It's bombastic action shlock with traces of drama and it doesn't pretend to be anything else. If it's not your thing, I don't think anyone'll get on your case for not watching them. Hell, I haven't watched the series after Hobbs & Shaw.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I watched them all up to that point but 9 was just too far. If you haven't tried watching it yet, I recommend it just to see what I mean.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do miss when it was just about street racing and low level crime though.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This 100%. It's fun to dunk on it but at the end of the day it's not lying about what it is. Same with Michael Bay and Transformers.

3 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

Uwe Boll needs to stop, though.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let them have their fun.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's for family

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That’s the real thing with these movies, they’re not clever, they’re not art, but they are fun. That’s all they were ever meant to be.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like Little Caesar's pizza it's a good salt lick to lure out the angry snobs in your group of friends

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

How did this get made did an episode on the first movie. June was blown away at how ‘simple’ the first movie is compared to the later ones she has seen

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup. Its me. I don't care how dumb it is. I have fun.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Totally and what it really comes down to, if a movie studio knows sequels will keep what is essentially printing money, they’ll keep making them.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good. They are fun movies with a bit of heart and have a strong fanbase. And they consistently hit the mark they are going for when making them.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

...So what? No, honestly, what's the problem? "People are making movies I don't like!" isn't a problem.

3 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

Fast: Ohana

3 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Ohana means diesel, diesel means nobody gets left behind

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I don't like them either, but I get annoyed when people who hate Marvel movies say they should quit making those. These big budget movies are keeping the studios and theaters in business. Their profits help fund the smaller, more mature (but less profitable) films that people can enjoy just as much when they go to streaming.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Also sometimes it's nice to have a movie you just watch for entertainment, no deeper storylines, no societal commentary, just dumb fun.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My suspension of disbeleif isn't consistent. I can buy space wizards fighting with laser swords, but not a regular guy who does completely unrealistic stunts in a modified muscle car.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why would they stop? It's silly mindless fun that sells really well, and the actors seem to enjoy making it.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Wait a sec, no one told you? 'Let people enjoy things.' Seriously, who cares.

3 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 5

Fast & Furious is the type of movie that you sit down in the cinema with a crate of popcorn and an extra large frozen coke and just shut your brain off and have fun with it. F&F is never going to win an award for cinematography or writing, but it never tries to be that.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Right? Who decided that movies need to be deep or realistic? Maximalism is fun too

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

wild that it makes people mad that sometimes you just want to go to the cinema to have a fun time

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I enjoy watching these with my wife at home. They're dumb as fucking rocks but it's fun to get drunk and loudly talk shit while we watch.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Same here, we both had friends into street racing and it’s fun to swap stories and laugh at ourselves, mindless entertainment is a great release sometimes

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Why do you give a fuck what other people watch? Over 7,000 movies are scheduled to be released this year. You don't like it? Watch something else and stop bitching.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

3 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Wild to have never watched a second one of the FF franchise ever

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Five is basically The Italian Job and they keep getting better/stupider.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I saw the first one and regret not keeping up with them. This new one looks super fun and I wish I knew what was going on.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some friends and I who all saw Tokyo drift and nothing since we're tossing around the idea of seeing it together without doing any catching up for fun.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They tapped fully into the "will watch the same old rubbish time after time as long as there's fast cars and guns n stuff" market.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 8

They tapped into DLCs, but for movies. Fast & Furious is the Grand Theft Auto of movies.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Does GTA 5 have a lot of DLCs? Weird and incorrect analogy but okay. Maybe you're reaching for Train Simulator as a DLC cashbag?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

GTAO is on its 10th year. They keep releasing DLCs for it and it's mostly the same old stuff reworked.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've only seen half of them, but they're not the same old stuff every time. They've gone from low stakes heist movies to now basically being superhero movies, with kind of a spy espionage series in the middle. I don't particularly like the series, but not a lot of franchises repeatedly reinvent themselves like that.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

yeah. I mean, the first 3 were essentially cops n robbers (not counting Tokyo Drift since it is apparently between 7 and 8), then it was "hold my beer" to try and top what they did in the movie before. Fight a tank! drive off a mountain! defeat a submarine! go to space! I am fully expecting time travel to come in during this 3 part conclusion.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wish I liked the actual movies more, because I absolutely love the "fuck canon, let's just do cool shit" mentality.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Where we're going, we don't need roads..."

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm gonna have to marathon through this shit to see what's up. I saw the first and second one when they came out. Is this modern "B-movies" as per. 80's Sly & Schwarzenegger perhaps...

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's dumb action shlock with a thin veneer of drama. It's more "cleaned up" than the ol' 80s action movies, because movies like F&F lean super hard on aesthetics. At some point they pivoted hard to something akin to Bond movies with how hard the stakes kept going up. Brainless fun nonetheless... if you can stomach people going on about "family" ad infinitum :)

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Imagine thinking Arnie movies are b-movies

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

This is just like when the Kardashians get hate from every conceivable direction, but still somehow have a 20-season show that's raked in billion$...because we're all lying liars who lie a lot

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

That's not a contradiction in the slightest. They get hate from every conceivable direction on the internet; people who spend lots of time on the internet forget that the userbase of these websites make up a tiny fraction of the population-- same with any given show's audience. Kardashians average apparently 1-2 million viewers, many of which aren't flocking to the same social media places where meme goblins are making fun of the Kardashians.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

they employ a ton of people so I really don't mind

This guy is a top poster on /r/antiwork I can tell

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Nobody is conscripting people into the movie industry, all I'm saying is that its great to have an eternal juggernaut of essentially harmless dumb fun films to fall back on when the projects that excite you dry up. I'm an animator, I've worked on one project in 8 years that I've enjoyed *on the whole*, but I still love what I do in the details even when the larger project kinda sucks.

Can’t be done. 12 is a straight line. Hed have to time travel. That’s not possible in theStar Wars universe.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’d come up with my own preferred explanation since it’s a measure of distance not time. He’s a smuggler so he simply went through law enforcement zones instead of around them like other smugglers might. It’s simple and fitting, not the overly complicated stuff they made canon.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s not just that. The hyperspace lanes he used are very unstable and largely unmapped.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mine is the route goes near a black hole and he got dangerously close to take advantage of Lorenz transformations which shortened the trip.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

China LOVES this franchise, they won’t let it die.

3 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 5

Yes because Chinese are really really superficial. People here like dumb movies with expensive luxuries in it, better if there’s models or kissing scenes. Violence is essential, with lots of 💣 as possible. I’m Chinese I know about this. This kind of movie is the best drug for modern slaves to worker even harder for a false dream that we could one day get a fancy vehicle and drive it fast, while being furious.

3 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 24

Too fast? While furious?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's great escapism to help forget that in 2 hours they have to go back to work in the hunger factories.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why do all that when you can just be furious for free?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The FF franchise is the highest grossing franchise in Chinese movie history. They fucking LOVE these movies.

3 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

They've seen the FF movies. Why would studios bend over backwards to appease their government censorship if they don't release in China?

3 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Okay, so looking it up FF does premier in China, but MANY time China has invested heavily in movies that would have zero chance of releasing in China because they make bank over here, their investments don't require the returns to be made in China.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 13

Take a look at Tencent and reddit, it is the same type relationship, Chinese company investing in something that makes them money but would be and is banned in China.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 13

As someone from the US who lived in China in the mid-2010s, I can tell you that Chinese theater goers fucking LOVED movies with dumb plots and lots of ‘splosions. Only 30-40 American movies get a slot to air in China. And it’s stuff like Transformers, Terminator, Rampage, Pacific Rim, Underworld. If it’s the fourth movie in a franchise that’s run dry but full of explosions? Box office gold in China.

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Hey, hey, hey. Pacific Rim was awesome. But yeah I get what you're saying.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Explosions don't need subtitles or dubbing. There are no translation issues with explosions.

At least F&F movies have a runtime - probably safe to say you've wasted far more time browsing imgur.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Dude... No it isn't. A broken government that purposely underfunds the education system, and religious influence over law making decisions got us here.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

It's a way to escape. Stop hating people trying to have a good time. I don't keep up with these movies but I get it. Escape for 2 hours and watch something really silly and just not think about how bad things are.

3 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

Escapism didn't get us to this point. Being inundated with bullshit in the real world at all hours by the rich and powerful with no actual escape did. We gotta learn to just let people enjoy things.

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

We could just have BETTER movies.

3 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 11

Fuck whatever "BETTER" means. I miss when movies were different and meant different things. Nowadays, if it's not Marvel Story #239 using StoryFramework297 we don't get the movie. I miss when they were DIFFERENT.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

We have soooo many good movies. They don't make money like F&F or Marvel Movie #227, but damn there are some good movies hidden among all that.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No one is stopping folks from making better films. The existence of the FATF franchise has not prevented other films from being made. I'll also argue big blockbusters like this will involve hiring a shit load more crew than your typical artsy movie.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

There's only so much screen time, marketing budget and attention to go around. It's not a zero sum game but it's more like that than that we can have infinitely many films without affecting each others' success

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Fast and Furious provokes idiots to drive like, well... idiots. It's like the effect from Jaws or One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, repeatedly

There's lots of intellectual and non stupid movies. They just have low budgets because not a lot of people go see them in comparison.

The Lighthouse so stupid

Well, now that's just not true at all.

Jw, for all the people downvoting--since you seem to disagree, what new movies do you think are the exception? I can think of a few like Guardians of the Galaxy for example. But I can only think of some limited examples. In general, newer movies feel less developed and lower quality overall (cgi excluded) than movies from the previous few decades.

There are over 7,000 movies being released this year. Are You There God, Huesera, Full Time, Rye Lane, Return to Seoul, A Thousand and One, Joyland, Suzume, The Blue Caftan, RMN, Attachment, John Wick 4, How to Blow Up a Pipelind, Saint Omer, Sisu, M3gan, After Love, Other People's Children, The Starling Girl, Juniper, DnD, Polite Society, Smoking Causes Coughing, Jethica, Leonor Will Never Die, The Artifice Girl, and Godland all have 90% or higher positive critic reviews.

Green Knight , Oppenheimer , 3900 years of Longing, Interstellar, Crimes of the Future. There are plenty of movies out that will tickle your brain.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Nah I've seen at least 2 intellectual movies this this year. Banshees and guardian's of the galaxy were on point

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Cocaine Bear would like to have a word

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah, but that was based on a true story. No one in Hollywood was genius enough to come up with a premise like that on their own.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You have to remember to not taunt the short term memory casuals. They'll defend shitty movies like it's their Kings virgin daughter

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

You should try stepping out of the mainstream movies. There are still good ones , they sadly just don't get big budgets

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

You're just noticing stupid movies. There's a huge variety out there. Of all you think is that there just stupidity, you might want to start looking at independent films and films that aren't in theaters but have an incredible plot or message.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Observably false

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

No one is forcing you to watch them. Unless someone IS forcing you... Blink twice if you're Not OK! Blink three times if you need a hug.

3 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

How many times do I have to blink to get someone to go down on me?

This man was just in a tremendously good movie "unbearable weight" soooo yawrong

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

And a few years before that Mandy. Fucking amazing film. But people will see what they want to see

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Found the guy who doesn't know about movies unless they are spoonfed to him. Over 7,000 movies are being released this year. Do some fucking research and see the good ones. You're the problem.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Nope

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 5

We've always had stupid movies, and movies that have a ridiculous number of sequels. The fast and furious have never tried to be anything other than exciting action romps that don't really make much sense if you pay attention to plot. And they deliver. I've never seen one in the cinema but if its on TV I will watch it if there's nothing else on and I will enjoy it, Its entertaining nonsense.

3 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 3

I enjoy them but I also enjoyed that the stunts started out realistic or at least somewhat to a degree of suspension of disbelief. They lost me when a car with hooks in it made 4 cars flip into each other when it went in reverse.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

To say they've NEVER tried is just false. The first movie was essentially a remake of Point Break, it took itself relatively seriously and it was good. There's such a disconnect between the earlier movies and the last bunch. The people who complain the most about them are the ones who keep paying to see each new installment

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Imgur will trash F&F for being stale then go hype the next John Wick, where John Wick *checks notes* shoots a bunch of people. I fucking love campy ass action movies and F&F goes out of its way to jump the shark even higher every installment.

3 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

Imgur isn't one person.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My all time favorite. Fucking hell the chills you get in this movie.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I watched both recently. John Wick just left me frustrated with the choices characters made. But in F&F I got a ridiculously giant ball bomb rolling around Rome!

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

However, for John Wick, I appreciate all the stunt work and combat choreography. Can't honestly comment for F&F, but I sure don't appreciate cars and booms and whatnot. Regardless, ill be bore af by John Wick 10 as I was for F&F...2 (ok im biais against car movies i guess lol)

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

F&F has pretty stellar choreography. Or it did before Lin left. Not sure about X, but I can't imagine it'll be terrible.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This franchise is like fast food ‐ its not great but you shouldn't judge other people for enjoying it.

3 years ago | Likes 139 Dislikes 8

We do not judge other people, we judge the franchise. I watched them all, because I also like watching stupid movies- but at home. I do not pay a cinema.ticket for them. I do not wish for the erasure of those that already exist. Let them be. But I do wish they started making them good ( and this does not mean not ridiculous ) or stop making them at all. At this point, they just enable bad quality stupid movies, imo.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've a degree in film and worked in film. Bad movies are what actually keeps the industry going. As a lover of film, I love bad movies. Where would we be without 70s B films or the direct to video trend? Bad quality stupid films are actively entertaining and we should keep making them. I'll also say that no one in the F&F cast or directors has been a problematic shithead. I pirate any film with a problematic lead or director but I'll give money to F&F.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Without B and C movies, we wouldn't have Sam Rami or Wes Craven. I'm also a lover of B movie double features!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is a remarkably good way to put it. Thank you!

3 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

Stop judging me for judging.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I do.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only if they do it for every meal. Because at that point it's a bit of a health issue. Get some greens in the diet.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

What is an example, to you, of a movie that would be 'greens' in this scenario? Just interested 🤷‍♂️

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ironically and Unironically, "The Green Mile". Though if you go 100% vegetarian, you limit yourself too. Gotta have a balanced diet. It's all about using stories to explore more emotions than just adrenaline or just morose tragedy or just sincere comedy.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Let's say your greens is "The Green Mile", your potatoes is "Blade Runner", your meat is "The Godfather", "Pulp Fiction" is your seasoning and "Evil Dead 2" for pudding. 😋

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shindlers list, probably.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

vin disel seems like chill guy though so im fine with him getting richer.

3 years ago | Likes 261 Dislikes 17

Especially since his last couple of big movies involve him saying "I" "am" and "groot", and nothing else.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

In that order?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really? Thought he was a jerk and petty wanker in real life

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Oh yeah. He's a model of self-control.

3 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

From what I've seen he uses the money on nerd shit and Riddick, I'd probably do the same with it tbh.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I am Groot.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Vin Diesel is actually an INCREDIBLY weird and kinda creepy guy.

3 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 8

Yeah. I saw a few YouTube videos of him where he got interviewed by women. Him constantly talking about their godly beauty made my skin crawl.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

Maybe he just wants to change his body into theirs, now wouldnt that be a twist

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I was his stand-in on “XXX” for a couple of days. He’s def a good bloke who deserves all that he has achieved.

3 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 2

Giod for you for being part of that movie, which I love by the way. And I love Prague.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What does the sound guy say in Prague? Czech one two

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did you get to wear the wooly coat?

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I did not. I DID, however, get to sit in the back of a C-130 and drive up and down a big field for the two days. So much fun. And $1k a day to boot.

Him and Rock didn't get along. Some say it ruined future FF pairings. They play it down, as professionals should, but insiders agree. "Which one's the asshole?" is undetermined.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

The Rock. Just by the story how he stopped Shazam vs Black Adam movie, and how he cant "lose" any fight in his movies.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

That's because he doesn't act. He just plays himself. And his image is "strong good guy that wins".

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Really? He's like the opposite of chill. He's extremely weird and often cant stop talking(usually about weird shit). He seems like he'd be completely insufferable to be around for even twenty seconds. The cast that keeps coming back for these movies must have the patience of saints.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Because of that 1 weird interview where he was on character, to which he apologized? Or is there more? The guy is just a massive nerd

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Nerds are notoriously chill and not weird, right?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Do you have stuff showing that he is actually shitty person?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The well known "hitting on an interviewer" was pretty damn awkward https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQ9QkFxC0sc

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Otherwise all the news/arguments with The Rock seemed to paint Vin in a pretty bad and immature light

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I just want more Riddick movies. Him + alien planet + weird monsters + bounty hunters with gadgets. Over and over

3 years ago | Likes 171 Dislikes 1

This, absolutely. Why drive cars when you could have tiny goggles, goddamnit

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I once read that he basically does these Fast and Furious movies to bankroll and get studio buy-in to do Riddick movies.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's his based on one of his D&D campaigns!

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Let's get a few more games as well.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

there is a planned 4th riddick movie, Riddick 4: Furya and its confirmed.

3 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

4th,? What was the third

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It was Pitch Black, Chronicles of Riddick, then Riddick.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

....I missed one of these

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pitch Black is in my top 3 favorite horror movies. I would love to see that type of Riddick movie but I'll be happy with what I can get. I also want my epic Karl Urban vs. Vin fight. Http://i.imgur.com/zqPscXO.gifv

3 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 0

One of my favorite parts of 3 was the fact that after all that, Lord Vaako was loyal to Riddick. I REALLY hope the character returns for 4, and not just a throw away scene.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He was? Vaako only had one quick scene and it was kind of ambiguous where his loyalty was.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Vakko was the first to kneel at the end of 2. Also Vaako was telling the truth, there wasn’t supposed to be a betrayal leaving Riddick on the fake furya, that was all Krone

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They did make another Riddick movie with the Pitch Black formula, just in case you didn't know! And has pretty good tie-in to Pitch Black characters

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Called *checks notes* "Riddick"

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It is good and on Netflix rn

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Then also made Chronicles of Riddick, and an animate movie called Dark Fury which was pretty good though dated now and not voiced by VD I believe.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Also Riddick Furya is apparently green lit and in the works for 2024/25 but not certain about that.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Maybe there will be a crossover: "Chronicles of the Furious"

3 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

not the Fast and the Furya?

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

That's pretty good
