Corporate came up with a way to increase sales by increasing output velocity!

Maybe I'm miss reading it, but that photo caption needs some editing. I'm reading that as it's caused by contaminated water or produce coming in contact with infected water. So if the water isn't contaminated with waste and it mixes with infected water it's fine?

That’s unusual

Probed, you say?

Leave Taco Bell alone! >=o[

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Oh come on I’m literally eating Taco Bell rn.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Than you're fine, the entire message about this is insane. Taco Bell jumped the gun and just started in some places not using any of their lettuce, aka they lost cash/money intentionally to prevent people getting sick (more lost cash etc). This admin is responsible and because they're who they are they've decided to point at Taco Bell and the morons on both sides of the aisle will eat it up because people are fucking stupid.

Oh I know I just thought it was funny timing to end up on this post lol

This admin is dumb af. Taco Bell doesn't own the lettuce farm you fuckwits.

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

They are catching heat because they took preventative measures against the current outbreak on their own. They stopped using the lettuce in multiple states I've read (maybe everywhere, don't know). This admin is at fault for removing any and all regulation they can find, taco bell as a corporation took measures to keep their profits from dropping (which also helps the population, they took preventative measures to make sure less people get sick, sure profit motivated but also just good).

How do they distinguish it between the normal everyday explosive diarrhea

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That was my question, also.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've eaten at Taco Bell many times, I don't remember it ever making me sick

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Its just the lettuce being used by them has recently been the reason for this viral outbreak. It isnt Taco Bells fault, they dont grow lettuce, they just buy it. Media is stupid and the Trump admin is looking for a scapegoat for their own failure.

Had Taco Bell yesterday. Didnt blow out my O ring.

That made me LOL at the doctor’s office where I planned to be mildly unpleasant because they are incompetent and now I don’t know if I can maintain the angry face I had. Thanks a lot.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Well you made my day by letting me know I made someone laugh, thank you!

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Of course! These doctors probably appreciate it as well. Haha!

I think it's the same reason @Shawnofavitch is..

'Bot accounts belonging to either a Three Letter Acronym or a Five Letter Acronym.

(They may be being paid by the same group, out of the money the USA sends to them for 'Defense')

Because OP was too dumb to provide the link https://nypost.com/2026/07/14/business/taco-bell-probed-over-possible-role-in-outbreak-of-explosive-diarrhea-infections-across-us-report/

And imgur users are too dumb to read the article even when a link is provided. "Food suppliers and restaurants are always involved in investigations and privy to information before the general public, according to experts."

It's almost like they worry about foodborne illness in places where lots of people eat

( The comment from the 'Choosen One' is the third kind of Downvoter... they hate us having a good time and want to watch the world burn )

So Musk destroyes the checks and balances with DOGE and now Taco Bell is to blame. Sure, sure.

2 weeks ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 4

I mean depending on the source they could be yes. Or also it could be their supply companies fault. Regardless of the checks in place someone did something they weren't supposed to do probably in the name of faster $. This shit happens even when usda/fda is properly funded because people like to shit in the fields.

Except ecoli problems on vegetables before Trump, suggest Robert Kennedy is going to suicide for a promotional video, germ free is going to be for "elites". lol.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

But this is insane. The government deregulated the industry, and now the government is complaining the industry is serving shitburgers.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So was Musk responsible for every other time this has happened? Sure, sure.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 13

No.
But did musk make himself the face of rampant uncontrolled deregulation for corporate gain?
Yes.
And did that probably contribute to this situation?
Yes.
So is it fair to throw this shit (pun intended) right back at his feet?
Also yes.

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

At his feet? He should be forced to choke it down the gullet in all its rancid glory.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So what regulations have the FDA rolled back, specifically that would make something like this easier to happen, and how was Musk involved?

Hi. I'm looking for facts. Not meaningless words to justify your feelings.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

@AegisXIV My brother in Christ, that's not a regulation now is it? You're the one who brought up deregulation. Why can't you provide proof of your own argument? Is this why you blocked me? Because you know you have nothing but feelings to argue with and you don't want to make yourself look sillier than you already have? Talk about pathetic.

They cut about 25% of the work force for one, which you would know if you were actually curious and not just a shill looking ro ragebait people with sophistry.
