A cat shelter I volunteered at had a cat that had feet that were really long and silly looking, same dysmorphic problem as this cat I’m guessing. She was probably one of the friendlier cats in there so she got to stay in the play room.
He is what is affectionately called a 'moggy', basically cat version of mutt. He's got traits from manx cats (no tail and large hind legs), traits from American curl (ears) and traits from the American Polydactyl (extra toes).
Honestly, the feetsies freak me out a bit. I'd have preferred to adopt a different cat instead, or if my SO really wanted that one I'd probably get used to it eventually. Got a bit of a phobia regarding certain deformities, though weirdly our adopted tripod kitty doesn't bother me at all.
I got married 5 months ago and my wife has a cat. I never realized how proportionately small their feet are and how heavy their steps feel, so maybe that cat wouldn't wake you by walking across you?
That is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. Pets are not accessories. They are living creatures. Deciding on a pet because you don't like some physical feature is absurd. This is why black cats are the least adopted cat in a shelter. Justifying that action is baffling. If you would not adopt a cat because you didn't like its color or the size of its feet or missing an eye, you don't deserve to have a pet.
My parents got a black cat over a year ago (they don't live with me, so I regularly talk to them over video call), and she made me like black cats even more. I really want to visit her in person one day.
Saw a family in a Petsmart trying to get a grey cat to do tricks, and they ignored the black cat next to it that was doing all the tricks and trying to get their attention. I almost adopted the black cat, except I had Scoop less than a year and was leaving for five days and wouldn't be able to oversee the introductions.
I keep hearing this but have never heard from someone (IRL or online) who dislikes black cats. Give me a reply if you don't like black cats (but do like other cats).

Get rid of the girl "friend." Sure the sex is nice, but you have two hands of your own, and neither one gives you any bullsh*t.

Is your cat always stomping around? Try kitten mittens!

if he was a puppy , you'd need a bigger house! :D

My thoughts exactly. Do you know what breed he is? ‘Cause if he grows into those feet he’s going to get big.

Why would anyone have an issue with a big footed cat? It's a house cat, its personality is 100% the deciding factor

More claws to trim
Salticido
You don't have to trim them. Just get a scratching post (or several), and don't harass them into attacking you, and you should be golden.
10000Bees
Assuming they're healthy, yup

and you can't adopt them around haloween because psychos
Salticido
That's not true, at least not in all places. My mom said this at our local SPCA, and they told us, "No, you can get black cats from us whenever."
