Adverb. There's an invisible verb in there, "doing" or "feeling".

So now that you know that well is an adjective whether you use feeling or doing or am, ... why is it an adjective?

Am is a verb. But even if it were doing or feeling, it's still an adjective. Don't believe me? Look it up in the dictionary. The definition that says it's about health will say that it's an adjective.
