Is it just me or does that look like a flying saucer on the Australian flag?

Event horizon will fuck you up

Given me and my friends were impossibly stoned, and because of that we were late to the theatre, and thus seated IN THE FRONT FUCKING ROW, I was in fact too busy having a cardiac event to actually notice at the time

It needs more yellow arrows

Also, the American flag on Miller's shoulder patch has 59 stars.

On the patch on his uniform in the movie Event Horizon

Simply follow the four yellow arrows, and you shall find what you seek within the yellow circle

2 weeks ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Ahhhh, I see now.

I was expecting a red circle, so my confusion is understandable.

I like when people declare their own confusion understandable.

Im getting understandably confused by this exchange.

So he could be on 'walkabout'.

I learned that word from Borderlands, the Pre Sequel. Underrated game, btw.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Nothing like a walkabout to hell... I feel like it defeats the purpose, but with all that's going on maybe he was ahead of the time?

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

learned about that when reading the long earth novels

Underrated film

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It won several awards and I’ve never heard anyone speak poorly of it

Underrated director.

I like Taika Waititi, but it's unfortunate there's a lot of hate from butthurt Marvel fans. I really enjoy him as a director.

I totally noticed that when he pulled his own eyes out and made me shit my pants watching that movie as a kid

I re-watched it recently and wonder if it didn't age well or if it was always that bad. There is a lot of trying to be mysterious by not revealing all of the details and it just is poorly done.

This movie... I'm a wuss when it comes to scary movies, and I was definitely the most of a wuss for this one.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah i haven't heard news outlets giving praise for event horizon lol. Plenty of other great movies and shows just not the one that gave many ppl nightmares lol

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

interestingly without Event Horizon we would not have Dead Space since the movie directly inspired the game.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Hey Dad, can we rent the space movie?" "Sure, you boys have fun". 25+ years later, my brother and I still won't watch it again.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

HAHAHA SAME. My dad took to me to see it thinking it was a basic SciFi movie (which we both love) and we were SHOCKED to find out it was not basic. Horrendous. I was 20 but that did not help me emotionally to deal with it.

I think i was 12 when I saw it on tape. Not sure I've seen it since but the best part of 30 years later I can still remember it terrifying me and I heatedly see a movie that spooks me.

I was 20 when I saw it too. Home from college and parents were out. They came home right about when the movie ended and I was…slightly less than ok.

I was 30.

And who can forget the famous line: "Where we're going, we won't need eyes to see, but that's no excuse to overlook the systemic oppression and erasure of indigenous peoples."

How can we sleep when our beds are burning?!

I see Truganini in chains

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really burnt the midnight oil to come up with that one.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes, I could bet you "10 to 1" on that one
