2/2 Titanium will embed into a bone and be grown over. That's why they use it.
The frame in the bones are titanium, but the actual ball for the hip joint, and the two plates for the knee are stainless.
Had both hips and both Knees replaced, so there's a bit of titanium hardware in there, also stainless. Metal detectors? No, won't go.
Just hold auditions for a replacement
