You're totally right, I didn't word that correctly but the root of what I'm saying is it's crazy how many legal cases are constantly swirling around people like Trump and his inner circle. They can just call it a political hit job, their supporters agree, and judges toss shit around like it doesn't matter.
Oh that's absolutely fair and I agree. I definitely didn't word it correctly but like, in the case of Trump, he was found guilty on 34 felony counts, but still wasn't sentenced because "it would interfere with his election campaign" etc.
The whole "we can't charge him because it'll interfere with his election campaign" is so fuckin stupid. Being charged with crimes should make you ineligible to be fucking elected to anything until charges are acquitted. That's like "he's probably guilty but he's running for office so we need to ignore those crimes"
