We have the technology right now to eliminate a lot of pain and suffering. Why don't we. Do you really believe that religion is the basis of all evil? Could it be false religion. Those that use the Bible or other religious literature to harm children, to make money, to take land, or enslave other humans. And if you are really counting on other humans to put and end to pain and suffering permanently, then I'm afraid that you are going to be vastly disappointed.
The biggest flaw in your argument is comparing human beings to a ............ crystal? Well, I would like to see this crystal create art, poetry, music,. I would like to see a crystal solve complex equations. I would like to see a crystal express love, and a sense of justice. Yes. We may have some of the same elements that make up a crystal, but we are a little more complex than a crystal, no?
I believe in the God Jesus described in the Bible. As for what other people believe, that is none of my business, as long as they don't hurt anyone. But do you seriously believe that human beings have the capacity to eliminate pain and suffering. To me that is even more controversial We could have a wonderful world right now. What is stopping us? It is not true worship that causes pain and suffering it is false worship. The abomination that causes desolation. False worship in Christianity is putting yourself before God and your fellow human. But imagine how some particles all came together randomly? and created beings as complex as humans, with the ability to create beauty and justice, almost like gods themselves. Amazing
