people dont get this, when everything else grows exponentially (% terms that is) a fixed minimum wage acts as an anchor for price of labor. If price of labor cannot grow exponentially then sooner or later it will represent a shrinking pie of resources.

His identity (Muslim) is a non starter for swing states regardless of current euphoria. His policies are okay at city level but need work at national level. Republicans have poisoned the very mention of socialism in swing states. stuff like rent freeze, subsidized housing etc dont play well when you talk about scaling at national level and come off as naive. even I dont support it but rather supply side solutions.I'd much rather take somebody like Bernie, warren or PeteB.
