Finally hit Imgurite on pretty much nothing but comments after 11 years. Obligatory selfie in the album about the super dark chocolate.

tbf we used to add salsa, so it's still an issue with beans and rice making up the majority of the meal. Burritos are fine since there's enough other stuff in there.

Ever since moving out on my own, I have a rule that beans and rice is not to be eaten as the entire meal for this exact reason.

No, they're from the book "Safe Baby Handling Tips" by David & Kelly Sopp. They have a prequel book about pregnancy tips.

Based on how easily the dog opened the gate, I suspect the owners live in a state where having a fence for an above-ground pool is a legal requirement, but they didn't want to go through the effort of putting a proper one in place so they got one that's "good enough" to save money.

The square root of any non-square number is going to be between the square roots of the two perfect squares on either side of it. What's the square root of 28? No idea, but it's between 25 and 36 so it's going to be 5.something, probably a little over 5.25 since 28-25 is 3, 36-25 is 11, and 3/11 is a little over 0.25. Oh, hey, it's 5.29.

Because Calvin was edited out of the first panel and Hobbes was edited into the last panel, the characters are in the shape of Loss.
