It's really bad with sone new phones. Triple press your power button and it dials 911. We get multiple per day.

Partially true. There are minimum standards, and classifications, but individual agencies may not have the budget for the higher tech stuff.

Top is my ambulance. Bottom is LAPD. The Motorala is still there because some of our districts still use VHF.
It's a panic button. It sets off an alarm in dispatch and you'll get every cop in the area sent your way
Don't have one of those, but that orange button on the radio makes it rain cops
Happened a couple times where I'm at too. Doesn't help that half the fleet is diesel and the other half is gasoline.
An older female nurse I work with complimented my haircut/facial hair about a year ago. Still smile when I think about it.
