I had a coworker who was a senior in high school the year the Royals won the World Series (2015). I'd been out of college for a year. She told me that and I was like NOPE DON'T LIKE THAT
Also I apparently saw a raven a few years ago, took a picture, and did not in fact know that's what I saw until three years later 😂
Crows are the biggest backyard birds here, so they're definitely not gonna register as "kinda small" without anything to compare them to
We don't have ravens here so every "wow, that's a big black bird!" Is really just a crow, so I think a raven would have to merit a "holy shit, that's the biggest bird I've ever seen" for me to recognize it
I don't know, I've always said happy birthday when handing things to people (specifically when it's trash, which always confuses them). I also had a phase where if something disappeared and I was asked where it was, my response was "I ate it."

I knit but I cannot count. And that is why I don't crochet. I only have to count when I cast on or after I've lost track of increases/decreases. Crochet is all counting
I use y'all cuz I taught in low-income schools for ten years and my coworkers used it all the time. But it's a very handy word that should be much more commonly used.

Oh my life is pretty great all things considered, but mostly because I learned a long time ago that nothing is ever actually under control, and when I need to feel like something IS controllable, I clean. It works pretty well.
Sometimes! It's the "wait that was words what did I hear" option and it's occasionally correct, and *sometimes* I can access it before I say, "huh?"

The "serious consequences" that motivate me are typically more in the "I'll look incompetent or unreliable" vein
