What's worse is the "halo effect." "My niece has a masters in Accounting and if she says the vaccine is poison, it probably is." I've heard similar arguments amongst dozens of people. It's always some "smart" relative whose background/experience have nothing to do with heathcare.

Lmao. They did this a few years back when I worked at Northrop Grumman. They said it wadto inspire a "collaborative workplace." All it did was increase the amount of noise on the floor. The plan was scrapped for all the other floors.
Oh nice. Very hit and miss. The Expanse was great. LOTR or The Wheel of Time weren't. We'll see

That was wild. However, he did make a point that our NATO partners should contribute more towards defense. They hardly do and their militaries are in dismal shape. I’m happy the general populace enjoys great healthcare, free college & a generally great life. But the old Bear smells weakness and is banging on their door. The US can’t be (or shouldn’t be) the world police forever. Everyone has to do their part.
Conservative is just synonymous with with the opposite of everything now. Sky is white? Nope! It’s definitely black! Feed poor kids? Nope! No food for them!

It's part of her unconscious desire to be around you. Don't hold it against her. She probably isn't doing it on purpose. My wife does this and it drives me up the wall. I'm cooking in the kitchen and somehow, she has to be there too.

No. Family can be super toxic. And sometimes there isn't a "fix" to them. I'm estranged from my siblings and parent for that reason. And I'm better off for it.
