Once accountability removes the current administration and hangers-on, then the law may evolve and then start to be redefined in a better way.But first, this lot needs to be removed with the tools currently at the disposal of those who might have some power to use those tools, whatever they are, and however they choose to use them to hold them accountable. We need rid of them.
I am sure we are both reasonable people, as are many on this thread. We will share many, common moral standpoints, however derived. But all our individual sets of morals will be different. Who decides the definitive set of morals?I agree Trump, his family/associates/etc. are not what we would call moral people. They aren't law-abiding either. So whatever you define as moral to them, they will go against. What we need to start with here is accountability to the current law. There is none.
But as other have said, and I think I acknowledged, he has made some sensible points too. It's almost like life has nuance... ;)
I feel judged.
And money
His vaccines misinformation, anti-muslim rhetoric, deliberately edgy views on LGBTQ+ (I believe the quote was something about people choosing to identify because "it's trendy"), that "house n****r" joke (fuck that shit)... I'm sure there's more.
;)
The same ballpoint pen...
But can you bullseye a womp rat with it?

You go ahead and keep on moving those goalposts. Stick with yourself American right wing politics. You're probably more comfortable with it anyway.
Hahaha. You don't know when to stop, do you? It couldn't be further from the truth. I'm Irish. Both of your parties in the US are much further right than even the right wingers in the Dáil!
I'm not embarrassed. (That one isn't sarcasm)
You mean not everyone is exactly as the stereotypes portray them? I'm shocked, I tell you! Or do you mean that this actually wasn't penned in the UK, as claimed? Again, I am flabbergasted (oh, wait, that's not true either)...From the votes, I suspect most took the comment in the way it was meant though.
Or there are too many things to remember and question and requestion because off all the bullshit flying around...
Things that if they were true, they'd have leaked them by now #127...
I agree. In fact, if you think they are an appalling human and still agree, it's normally a good indication that you are both right.
Sadly there are too many syllables here to have any effect in the US...
Oh, I think he has plenty of red lines nobody is prepared to do anything about yet...Until someone grows a pair, he will keep doing what he is doing.
Maher is a confirmed cunt. But this is close to the mark.
Very cool. Ours have just come out too.
I am against government censorship by the back door. If a few years ago Biden tried to cancel Tucker Carlson, for instance, that would be wrong too. So why is this acceptable?
Well, rig it further - the electoral college system already rigs it quite well
Not really. I am interested why you think outside pressure was applied.
I help you with the maths. With a razor thin majority across the board, they are shit-scared of even a few hundred thousand people turning out that didn't before. That could change everything.
You didn't answer the question. Why were they so scared and putting in the effort to cancel him? They weren't part of the company. This is pressure from outside.
Their majority is razor thin across the board. It wouldn't take a large % in a two-horse race to change everything. That's why there is so much effort to fix the process.
Then why were the administration so scared and upset such that they pressured the network to cancel him?
So one grey dude catches their ball and they then feel justified kicking the shit out of all of them???
