Please ignore my favorites list. The 0 key is right next to the right arrow, so I favorite things by mistake all the time. I clear it out periodically.
Flume ride for squirrels.
Speaking as a Canadian: I have never heard of 5-pin bowling. The popular kind around here is candlepin bowling.
There's one around where I live, with a (douchy) personalized license plate so it's obvious it's the same guy. Ugly as fuck.
I have 2 year old sibling cats, the girl is huge, hyper, and screams all day, the boy is tiny, anxious, and screams all night.
I'm curious - I know NS has high property tax compared to other provinces, but we also have a reg that caps the property tax for owners until the property changes hands. We bought this home last year, the previous owner's prop tax was just under $3k, it jumped up when we bought it because the cap reset. Does your province have a similar cap system, and if so, have you been in that house for a while (pre-boom?)
I'm in Nova Scotia, my house value is about $500k, my property tax is about $4k/year.
Oh god, the sand fleas in all that seaweed.
For real congrats, but my god this reply made me laugh so loud I scared my cats.
Touché.
Ok, but why stage the banana in a drawer...that's an odd place to put a banana, it doesn't add to the realism they're going for.
When you bleach black fabric, it looks orange/red. It would take a crapload of bleach for it to actually go white, if even possible.
Looks like it might be a sectional with a square ottoman that you can push in to made it bed-like. I have one, they're quite nice.
#6 I have none of those. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Just did a Google, looks like the 54 books are about 1.45 million words. I read about 15k words an hour, so it'd be about 96 hours of straight reading. bringiton.gif
I have the whole Animorphs collection boxed up in the garage...did they hold up? I'm thinking of reading them again
It's extremely good, I've watched the whole series through multiple times...I haven't been able to watch it in the last 8 years, though, it's just upsetting at this point.
I read '8-D chess' as 'dick chess'....it looks like a dick. Just thought I'd share.
It puts your screen in the clipboard, you can then go paste it somewhere.
I think you can still find them in the Maritimes but they're not common anymore. I haven't seen anyone use them in 30 years, maybe some of the older generation still use them.
In Canada, you fill out a TD1 form when you start a job. If you expect to make less than the 'basic personal amount' of $15,705 (federally, each province also sets their own BPA), you just check the box that says you're going to make less and you don't have tax taken at source.
I don't understand the appeal of peeled grapes (ha, pun.) Biting through the skin of a firm grape is half the pleasure of grapes.
To be fair, the tax was announced June 2024. Companies knew the timeline for a while, they were given time to prepare. The timing is pretty on the nose politically, but this tax is not news. https://www.canada.ca/en/services/taxes/excise-taxes-duties-and-levies/digital-services-tax.html
I just checked my app, $2.29 CAD here, so $1.67 USD.
I'm not familiar with Siberians, but the fur texture looks similar to my Ragdolls. If that's the case, a Furminator can destroy the fur's texture and it will never be the same. Please don't use a Furminator on all cats, different cat fur needs different brushes!
It looks cute but in practice it just adds pointy wood right on the top of the dog's head, it looks like it'd be more comfortable as just a circle. It's form over function.
And sometimes it's nice to just relax in your pjs on a comfy chair, playing just for fun, instead of only allowing yourself to play if you feel like playing perfectly. BTW I also teach flute.

Yes, also women didn't have as many periods in general as they were pregnant and/or breastfeeding for most of their fertile years.
