BofHUA is one of if not the worst of the giant monster mega banks.
Both Google and Apple capitulated to dumbfuck over the Gulf of Mexico and I'll bet they will do the same again here.
#6 Reminds me of a video of a bunch of gators (maybe crocs) in an enclosure being fed. One of them goes for a hunk of chicken and ends up grabbing the leg of the one next to them, then proceeds to deathroll the leg completely off.Meanwhile the other gator, now with 3 legs, looks at the first gator like: bruh!
Sounds like unnecessary drama.
I see this as an absolute win.
tl;dr Even in a worst case scenario (100% of your electricity from coal) an EV still runs more efficiently than an ICEV.
A large percentage of the power that's used to charge EVs comes from renewables like solar or wind, and that percentage is continuing to increase (despite Trump's efforts to prop up the fossil fuels industry at the expense of the country's energy security and economic future)Even when your power comes from fossil fuels (oil, gas, or even coal) it's coming from utility scale power plants which run MUCH MUCH more efficiently than a small gas or diesel engine in a car or truck.
This is faked, but in theory much of an EVs efficiency advantage is because it gets it's power from renewables or from very efficient utility grade power plants.A portable generator like this is pretty much the worst case scenario as far as fuel efficiency goes.
This is a pretty old pic so probably photoshop, or the guy only partially (just the tip) plugged in the charger cable to get this pic for the views.
This is a funny picture but not how any of this works. No modern EV can even be shifted out of park if there is anything plugged into the charging port. Guessing this guy just partially plugged in the charger cable to get this pic for the views.
#5 is outstanding, even in a solid color that would be a great outfit, with that pattern and color contrast it's just magnificent.
I get wanting to memorialize such an amazing person, but I'm really not sold on naming something after her that has the potential to unleash death and destruction.
I do appreciate this but it's going to get demolished here, Imgur _really_ doesn't like AI content.
That fireball was insane, RIP to the victims.

The paper that is the foundation of this article has been corrected, and the original is paywalled, found a free preprint of the most recent correction here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41633803/What stood out to me in that was that quite a few of the measured outcomes (4 out of 5) were scored "very low".Again, I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but this meta analysis isn't going to be what does it.
I wish it were so, but what you are saying simply isn't true:https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov">9906/">https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33289906/https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/55/15/865"Conclusion In transwomen, hormone therapy rapidly reduces Hgb to levels seen in cisgender women. In contrast, hormone therapy decreases strength, LBM and muscle area, yet values remain above that observed in cisgender women, even after 36 months."
I agree this is a losing issue, and a complicated one, honestly one that doesn't have a good solution IMO.In competitive sports, it's simply not possible for any amount of hormone therapy to overcome the physiological changes that take place when you undergo puberty with male hormones coursing through your body.At the same time, for non-competitive sports, for example P.E. class, there's no reason to exclude transgender women and girls from playing with other women and girls.
Don't get me wrong, I don't tip in situations where it's not called for, including takeout, certainly not at kiosks like you mentioned. I suspect that in many (perhaps most) of those cases the employees never see much if any of the "tip" money.
"“I got nothing but love and respect for gay people and transgender people, but under no circumstances do I think men should play against women. Zero,”"Says he respects transgender people then immediately disrespects them by misgendering them in literally the same sentence. SMH.
IMO $5 cash or $7 through the app is the minimum, if there's a lot of food or the driver has to go a long distance tip more, if the driver gets it to you quick tip more.I agree that delivery services should pay their drivers more, but I'm not opposed to tipping in general, lets the drivers who do a better job earn more, why you almost never see wait staff want to get rid of tipping.
There are in some states, not sure about all of them, in any case I don't trust these companies to do the right thing in any given situation. Why I almost always tip in cash, there is no chance the company or business owner is going to steal any of those tips and it's up to the person being tipped whether or not to report that income to the government.
If I ordered that from Domino's, generally cheaper than apps like DoorDash, it would probably be $35-$40 before delivery fees. She was probably paid $2-$3 (maybe more depending on factors like distance or how many drivers are working at the time) by DoorDash to make that delivery, and that's using her own car entirely at her own expense (no reimbursement for mileage or anything else). How services like DoorDash can screw over their drivers AND restaurants and STILL lose money I have no idea.
Looks like a 2L bottle of soda and 2 pizzas, you ain't getting that for $20 through any delivery app.IMO $5 cash ($7 through app) is the minimum acceptable tip for food delivery regardless of the amount of the food, that much food probably should have been more like $7 or even $10 if it arrived quick, again more if tipping through the app instead of cash.
She was out of line but $4 is inadequate for tipping a food delivery person. Especially since he tipped using the app meaning she probably won't see all of it.
And not one of them gets, or deserves, the popular or financial support this woman is getting.
Literally nobody besides her crazy cultists have argued anything like that. The defense doesn't dispute that she strangled her 3 children they just claim that she did so because of postpartum depression,
