TOTALLY AGREE! We bought a Dyson heat/cool fan for our very old house. It was HELLA expensive, but when it fell off the shelf at 3 years 2 months (it had a 3 year warranty), Dyson was amazing, and sent us a refurbished unit at absolutely no cost. They covered it, even though it was clearly our fault that it broke (which we admitted up front). Amazing.
Yes, there's also no-talent basement "mixers", auto-tune specialists, and everyone's favourite -- the guys who know only how to sample, and use Protools.
I tried to get a HOOVER Vacuum Cleaner repaired under warranty. Exactly this scenario. They put me on hold for 1 hour, 2 hours then 45 minutes. The whole time, the "loop" was telling me what a great "american" company they were -- then it eventually just hung up on me every time. So about 4 hours of my life wasted, and I'm never buying another Hoover product EVER.
