I am a non-disabled veteran. I was assuming the “asshole” was me, even though I was only pointing out what the grandma probably thinks about the disability money.
A non-disabled veteran, in this case. But also the Grandma in the story here, sounds like she disapproves of the disability money and thinks it’s not deserved. That’s what stood out to me the most in this sad tale of greed.
My point exactly. “90% disabled”should have at least three limbs amputated.
I did 20 years and retired. I am 0% disabled. Didn’t even bother with a rating because all the fakers disgust me. 🤷♀️
I’m sorry 90% and 80% disabled, getting all that money handed out to you for free month after month. It sounds like you are going to be reported for disability fraud.

Obviously vaccines work but healthy 18-45 yr olds aren’t going to die from the flu. Let em get sick if they want to! 2 hospitalizations probably cost less taxpayer money than thousands of flu shots. 🤷♀️

As others have mentioned, Arrested Development and Venture Brothers both do this excellently, but there was also one particular season (I don’t remember which one) of Orange Is The New Black that pulled off an “everything we were setting up finally comes together” extremely well.

Jeeeez I’m so sorry. I did 20 years in the AF but didn’t lose anyone close to me. You’ve got so many airmen to remember on Memorial Day. I hope you know they all wish peace and happiness for you. Thanks for remembering them.

I’m guessing the one on the left is the “after” pic because she looks healthier and seems to have better balance than the one on the right. 🧐
Ok guys I can shed some light on this. The kids always chased the trucks for fun and to get candy/gatorade/whatever the troops would toss out to them. Like at a parade how they toss candy to kids in the crowd. Chasing the trucks was just fun for them, and tons of candy was thrown down to them, it was a daily occurrence.
We had surf and turf every Friday at Al Udeid in 2008/2009. It wasn’t that great.

Not sure if it helps, but I freaking love anesthesia. Had it four times, including twice at my request for c-sections (some people want to be awake for that?? Insane) and it was a great experience every time. I’m not jealous of your health problems but anesthesia is awesome.

Upvote for awareness. I was active duty in the U.S. military at the time this happened and yet this is the first time I have heard of this horrific crime.

I’m doing fine—we initially thought it was a rotator flight carrying hundreds of troops, so after an hour or two when we found out there were only 7 or 8 casualties we were super relieved. The rest of the video I haven’t seen since that day, it shows the guy driving into the smoke/dust cloud on the ground and looking for survivors. I lost track of him a few years ago. He’s Australian.
I was there that day!! Bagram. I know the dude whose dash cam took that video.
