#2 I always watch and laugh and upvote this one!
The Western nations have absolutely failed Palestine. Now, some are extricating themselves from the 70+ years of US-led policy hegemony.
Abso-fucking-lutely.
He is deeply unpopular here right now, but even a broken clock is right twice a day 🤷🏽♀️
Oh of course, you're correct! I've updated the description
Macron has his moments
Starmer to speak with Macron and Merz as France to recognise Palestinian state - live updates - BBC News https://share.google/sPQRXCm1ZduvpEmIK
This is just the first step in a long road ahead, but this puts pressure on other Western countries. Palestinian statehood makes the ceasefire process faster and allows bilateral aid to enter. Israel has little role to play and can unilaterally go Fuck itself. That pressure is already building: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cly2yky91lpo
A Statue of Liberté / Égalité would look amazing at the Rafah crossing :)
Isn't it crazy that THIS is his wildest take

It's so ridiculous. Once, in the same shop, I was a size S, L and XL. I'm actually an M and none of those fit. Like, why. https://media2.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1d2E0cmtuaGZqMTh4Nmdud2NvM2t6dmlnemhmNDJoMjMzbTJwZ3FqaSZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/4JVTF9zR9BicshFAb7/200w.webp
It's so fascinating to read American history as a non-American because some of these regressive laws are so recent! You couldn't teach evolution till the 60s?! Dafuq. I grew up thinking the US was this super progressive place but that's a reality only in some urban pockets, and it was really popularised (propagandized?) through movies and tv shows.
