that the show (or video game in this instance) is not proper Gundam is a super old complaint that keeps getting brought up. Gundam doesn't have a formula the way say a Macross series does, so its really personal taste.

Its not the first time aliens have been in Gundam though which is odd about the complaint. The 00 Gundam movie had aliens, as did the fourth Gundam Build Fighters series. Gundam Seed has an alien fossil. Crossbone and Victory have alien bacteria.

The new video game I think its more the issue that with the aliens in it and the mecha designs it doesn't look/"feel" like Gundam, but people only have a minute or two of gameplay/cut scenes to go off of yet. People not liking designs and claiming...

I would believe that, 100%. And I've enjoyed my times at GenCon and around Indianapolis.
I'm pointing out that this ladies jokes track that you can find hateful nerds in Indiana. Unfortunately not all people who consume nerdy media are as conscious of the messaging.

She did say she was from Indiana. A state I always knew I entered not by the signs on the highway but by the Swastikas in the bathrooms.

Ballooney is at least twice the man Tate is.

All you have to do to make someone much more conservative is make them scared. I imagine the strokes and lowering cognitive function has put a huge amount of fear into him. This does not excuse his horrific acts towards the jogger in this story or to the American people who hoped he wouldn't be one of the most pro-Trump Congressmen out there.

Wow, am I colorblind. I had to go back to the picture to see who you were talking about. Can't see a green jacket, but I still picked him out of the lineup.

It's almost like the North American cheetah and some deer it used to eat. The deer just became faster and so did the cheetah, until the cheetah reached peek fastness while the deer reached almost the same speed but could maintain it much longer, so the cheetah died out, and now all we've got is these damn fast deer.
Sometimes evolution doesn't keep up.

It is always a small 'yay' inside me when I see so many clips coming out of the Helium comedy club here in Portland. Haven't been down there myself in a while.

Yeah, first thing I thought of was teens or drunks using it to get part way across and then jump/fall into the stream and someone wanting to use it looking at the gondola in the middle of the space. Then saw the crank on the post and it all made sense. Turns out engineers are smart.

In fact that I would say is the one problem the guy in this video makes. He says too much about what he posted. While yes, all 1st amendment protected, he should still not be talking to the police about what he's done, only what they want.

One of, if not the largest collection of Ruben's paintings is in Lichtenstein. One of its Duke's had a type, and good for him.

She is so much calmer than I would be. Good on her for keeping her head on straight.

He certainly had his issues, not prosecuting the Trump administration thanks to putting Merrick Garland in charge. Not taking a stance against Israel's genocide. Not stopping our oligarchs from manipulating the markets. Trusting "the system." But he didn't have Congress on his side and the only thing the media wanted to report on him was that he was old and not doing anything, when he in fact did a lot, but wasn't seeking fanfare for it.

Thing is he was a great president in many ways. Best president for education in 20+ years, having the first Education Secretary who wasn't pro-privatization since one of Clinton's who didn't even last a full term. Best president for labor in (depending on how you count it) 80+ years, he strengthened unions, brought back manufacturing. Better on infrastructure. Better on the environment since Carter at least. Helped the country rebound from COVID. All that despite Congress.

She is, and they have both learned each others art style so that way if one of them passes, the other can continue their series.

Do two or more women have a conversation that is not about a male? If yes, it passes.

They are trying to stack the military with sycophants they can control to give Trump a third term. At one time such thoughts were conspiracy theory like, but at this point it seems they are trying to take control of the military, later than most coup attempts do. We will see if they are successful. But this will continue to not be a good time for America.

There is a reason many insurance companies do not offer long or short term disability to religious organizations, and that is because they commit fraud at such a high rate. When people believe they have ultimate authority they feel they are above the law. These men are showing it by taking money away from people who are not like them and giving it to their own, even though it is for the entire communities children.

The Tooth Fairy isn't called that because she has enough teeth.

Now that I think about it, in the Warhammer universe is the Tooth Fairy just a lesser Chaos god under Khorne?

The DM didn't. The players just never found the secret room with the 50xp worth of enemies inside, and they certainly weren't coming out after the slaughter they heard.

I'm a fan of mandatory civil service for those capable, but not for the military alone. Make it all civil servant positions. Basically work for two years within the government and then get college paid for. I know, I know, that's just a form of socialism but it gives young people skills and an investment in how our country works, even if they only focus on the part they did for their term.

Yeah, but what does the frantic kicking and shaking the black cloth symbolize?

Fewer CGI shots, more time given in production and more money. The amount of CGI shots in a modern action/adventure movie is absurd and they are not given the time or money to accomplish them all.

That's just the racist view Muslims bad, combined with the usual USA view of Iran bad. Just because your favorite talking head is not upset with Trump about something doesn't mean they give up their racism or "patriotism."

This is very important. Are you using "jew" as a noun, adjective or verb. Noun is fine. Adjective is normally fine but intent can make it bad. Verb is almost always bad. If its used as an adverb that is one fascinating bigot you are dealing with and you should probably see what other linguistic gymnastics they pull off.

Preferable to Russia as well. Jill was by words only anti-genocide in Palestine, but she was also pro-genocide in Ukraine as she simply repeated Russian talking points. She'd say she was for the war ending, but 100% of the time she quoted Russia's demands as being what should happen.
Again, for those who voted for her or didn't vote because the Greens made you feel bad about voting for Kamala, Jill Stein was/is pro-genocide.

But Jill being the head of the party has no interest in local level. Also, several of the local level people who have been elected have turned out awful. Now, that will happen in any party, but with a party so small with so few successful elections, any that turn out to be turds really skews their numbers.
