When my first dog passed, my friend helped me avoid going beyond being sad and spiraling into depression. Told me to remember that my dog wouldn't have wanted me to be that way - she'd have wanted me to keep on going. That really stuck with me. Mourn him and never forget him, but keep living for him, because it's what he would want you to do.

Getting better =/= better at the same pace. Sure, it will improve. What reason do we have to think they're going to improve as much as they did from that 2021 video to now over the next 4 years with the INSANE amount of resources they've blown (and are still blowing) to get to this point and we're seeing diminishing returns already? GPT-5 seems to have opened a lot of people's eyes.
A lot of companies use the same tool so if your resume gets rejected by one AI it fucks you over with dozens of companies. It's so fucked.
I don't think we should just assume it's going to keep getting that much 'better' at that pace. That's part of the AI marketing hype.
