A parent to amazing humans, with soul that will always be in New Zealand but raised bodily in Australia. Time has developed eclectic taste in music age a dark sense of humour, in the guise of a homebody but the heart of a traveller. A haggard IT veteran and ancient Internet user forever longing for the long lost excitement and civility of bulletin boards and the early days of the net. Aware from childhood that my corporeal form did not fit, that it hung loosely around a mind that always felt differently, a mind that always felt pain and self-loathing in mirrors and photos. Late in life I chose to transition, to best align the mind in turmoil and the reflection in the mirror. To be honest with myself, family, friends and colleagues. A challenging road to walk, but one that needed to be travelled.
