Most colleagues feel I’m likable, funny, trustworthy and smart. When hired for the position I am in now the hiring partner didn’t even bother to interview me, relying instead on recommendations of others in the field who all said they had never heard a bad word about me. I’m in this position now 3 1/2 years.
