yes, but you're thinking of trimming claws - declawing is removing the equivalent of your full nail/last finger joint so there's no claw

Right, but also wrong. You selectively breed something that starts as a natural mutation until it's exaggerated mainly via inbreeding

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

we kinda did, that's how all selective breeding works. you take a mutation and breed it like crazy, now munchkins are bred for this feature

i can hear it

Your argument is also strange: "He's a bit fascisty but it's OK bc he won't have power if elected despite winning a theoretical majority"

No, I didn't miss your point. I just find it irrelevant. Have you seen what he inspires? I don't want that kind of garbage legitimized.

And what about the example he'd be setting for our children and on the international stage? A president represents us.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

he was also fascist dictator that was put into office democratically and upended his country's entire political system, but sure, memes.

mccain commented on his policies, which trump can never seem to handle and always stoops to personal attacks. get a clue and check it out.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

let me get this straight: you think it's ok to elect a fascist (or pretty damn close) because congress will balance it out?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Moreover, Germany had checks & balances too - until they didn't. People forget how similar their democracy was.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Point is that no one saw it coming in Germany either. He exploits people's anger for his own gain, which is dangerous for a public servant.

Ditto. His movies had a huge influence on me as a kid. He was fucking beloved & I don't need to remind people every 4 seconds to prove it.

i've been there and i don't remember a cockroach infested bathroom...

No, althought it's true that's kinda what they became. But the reason they left is because they didn't want to be forced to join the CoE.

Fanticism and extreme generalization =/= truth, but ok

Feminism isn't about us vs them. It's about mutual respect and equal rights. Only together can we change society. Full stop.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ok yeah no. Someone who makes blanket statements that men are enemies is not someone who truly believes in equality/feminism. Or is a troll.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I respectfully disagree. Many, many men around the world are on our side. A united front is stronger than women vs men, allies are important

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

As a woman, yes we do need to fight for ourselves, but engaging supportive men as allies helps bc this is a societal issue.
