Heck, even just one's hand. Then again, other people probably have smoother hand skin than I do...

Huh. Sweet + savory... I suppose I can see it.

This was a joke. PDWs were originally invented for noncombat military personnel, such as truck drivers, to give them better chances of survival should they be caught out by enemy forces. I was riffing on that, due to the absurdity of suggesting we arm teachers.

#4 No, no, no. See, pistols are hard to use effectively without extensive training. They work fine as secondary weapons, sure, but non-combat personnel should really be given something like a PDW. They still have a compact form factor, but allow for steadier aim via their stocks. Coupled with their higher rate of fire and more powerful cartridges, they give the user much better chances of fighting their way out and back to friendly lines.

I wouldn't say sims, but Derail Valley and Railroader. Century of Steam will almost certainly join that list once it releases. Don't know that I have a favorite track.

Ballast! Holds the ties (sleepers) in place while also allowing for drainage. Has to be cleaned, turned, tamped, or outright replaced every so often. Jagged rock works best, as it will lock together more effectively.
