From warehouse manager to furry artist here! Yeah careers are bizarre lol. For real though jumping around what you did wasn't easy. Seems like a wild ride

After I got my license we had a horrid winter. Almost every time I went out there was a foot of snow. I learned real quick how to fishtail safely, just for my sanity!

Good soups are amazing. The skills you learn when making all of them can be used for an absurd number of dishes. Honestly your plans are just amazing through and through. Mad respect

Dang, you should be proud of it! That looks sick. The deep shadows makes all the color just pop

Childhood friend of mine was cracked at dodgeball. By highschool he had to be warned multiple times in gym classes to stop doing flips to dodge when he played. Dude routinely would win 1v5's. Dodgeball was the one thing his ADHD could focus on. If he heard there was a league I'm certain he would be insanity in it.

Been in this situation a few times. First reaction is to ask them what their thoughts are. Not gotten a bad response to asking yet!

I sold my film rights to pay for therapy for my friends and I, so thankfully we're all fine now. It's just become a random memory we recount

I once got trapped in Ohio for 3 days straight. Road trip, we stopped at a seedy hotel for the night after 14hr of driving. This was a tiny town with only one stoplight. As soon as I got the keys, my tire rod dropped out. Not a big deal, 2hr $50 repair right? Nope. This weekend everywhere was closed because of a fishing jamboree two towns over. We got the car towed, and a "taxi" pickup from a dude with one leg and a very boisterous personality to a new hotel w/o bugs. Man... I avoid Ohio now.

Only fans is a good start

Yeah. Shit takes ages to build up that big. Most see the end result of the work so often and think it's common haha. Add into that the workload behind the scenes makes it seem easy. Source: furry artist who sells comms and is friends with people much bigger than himself.

Been learning to draw for 11 years now. You won't notice the transition from "no one really wants it" to "people in my DMs asking when comms are open." I don't know when it happened, I certainly don't think I'm doing different stuff now. That is to say, it's just the most frustrating advice on repeat. Keep doing what you enjoy. Practice. Break your comfort zone. Learn. Fail. Fail harder. Learn. Enjoy it. Hate it. Practice. Won't always have someone who wants you to draw. So you do it for you.

I should add, yes/no. It's not an instant-win button by any stretch. And good god is it hard to keep anatomy on point with some designs. Those with their niche kink definitely make a ton. But it's still really difficult to get momentum in any of the fields without help. People wanna get art from the artists that draw what they want, in the way they want it. Not from any random joe shmo who can do a tentacle mass of dicks or whatever it is these days!

When I have to order gluten free and get asked "allergy or preference" I answer is the most defeated tone I can "allergy, unfortunately"

Hoping it works to some degree as well '^^

Oh who am I kidding. If you're so focused on the profits you missed the issue entirely with this problem.

Then add in a new feature or set of features that people will want and charge for that. Not remove a *verification of being who you are.*

Old ass photo of my roommate and mys adventure downtown. To be fair, that thing has to be replaced.

Yep. WW1 it wasn't even new. Urban areas are awful for the style of gun but I guess they got nothing better.

Never kinkshsme, it's the bro code.

Guy hiding out as a rat, literally. Ron and friends didn't know. But bros saw the name and just never questioned or told him.

Though their response to him was definitely more aggressive than I feel it should. But I can't speak to anyone there!

Thats why I fucking love his response. Apologize and leave. If they knew him, they would be excited. But he didn't wedge in.

I was taught that the phrase (cut ver) meant that no matter your opinion on the market the sales are the truth. Can't argue with results etc

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Full stop. Whether you're telling the truth or not, telling people to eat shit/spouting how smart you are will only net downvotes. Be nice.
