Then tape off the stripe and border and paint the rest of the car the primary color and then spray your clear coat.
Base coat. You don't paint stripes on primer. Once the border dries, you tape over the border then paint the stripe onto the yellow.
Getting ready to put down the black border to the stripe. The stripe will be orange.
