Consumer reports has shown that Mac 2 yr failure rates are ~1/2 (10%) that of almost every PC (from all manufactures; ~20%).

Agree 100%. Same with MacBooks. PC laptops run into problems and annoyances within 1-2 years. Had my mac for 5 years w/ no problems yet.
