They also say "Kob Khun khrab" at the end, which basically is "thank you" in Thai, so it definitely was Thailand. I think I was browsing hotels near that city at some point and saw this one so i recognized it from their website.
I haven't been there but based on browsing I am near certain that is in/near Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. Unfortunately that area also tends to have very high PM 2.5 values (air pollution), among the highest in the world.

Already did! My fiancée and I went to Kyoto and did this. It was fall time and she had a kimono with a white base, but it was covered with red and yellow flowers and a red obi. Since it was fall, all the leaves around us were red and yellow and orange and she fit right in. We had a professional photographer as well so we have phenomenal pictures!

I did some background work on one of the episodes! Will just say it was in ep 7. For privacy's sake, not gonna say much else. But it was a fun day!
The entire administration is hostile, so this is par for the course...
It mostly depends on their system, all of which can increase price. PC to stream/run the vtuber/game at the same time. VTuber model as well, which can go wildly high based on complexity. Good camera for the face tracking. A high end vtuber model with good face tracking is probably upwards of $10k, but the lip synch / mouth tracking is phenomenal. A lot of the ones here will not have quite that high end of a rig.
Vtubers from the same group playing a game. Standard spells like fireball, freeze. One of them (cat-themed vtuber) picks up doom. No one has any idea what it does.
