"While you were studying the books I was studying the body. Now, everyone is an improvised weapon." -Barbarian

"Don't you mean 'anything' as an improvised weapon?"
"I said what I said. Are you volunteering?"

Truth. I've had jobs where the paint drying is the most stimulating part. I'd rather be paid to be busy than than paid to be bored. You can only crawl to the bathroom so many times when the stalls are full of all the other bored employees. It becomes a game of musical chairs around the facility. That's bad when you actually need to go.. 🫤

Well that's pretty cool.

Eh, fan service is fan service. Some people enjoy it, some don't. I wouldn't think a bum shot would diminish the plot point meant to be taken in, but if someone has been conditioned to think panels cuts are intended to objectify her rather than showcase environment and scenes from pov's to set a stage/mood, they might have drank too much kool-aid.

You see what you want to see. I see a story about heroes and villains, subtle truths about morality and the costs and responsibilities of power.

Close. That would be Greed, another of the seven sins.

Gluttony however, derived from the Latin word "gula," originally referred to excessive indulgence in food and drink, often viewed as a sin in early Christian teachings, associated with a lack of self-control, and the potential to lead to further immoral behavior, as emphasized by theologians like St. Gregory the Great and St. Thomas Aquinas.

Darwin is a hell of a thing. It'll weed out the people who deserve the award eventually.
It's just a shame most bad shit that vaccines help mitigate are spreadable.

Roughly around the 1970's, inspired along other sing-song childlore tales like Itsy Bitsy Spider and such. The moral of the story is that if you pick on those smaller and more innocent than you, the moral authority—aka the Good Fairy—will make you pay. Even giving you a few chances first to clean up your act. But, of course, Little Bunny Foo Foo doesn’t heed her warning and, thus, incurs the consequences. He’s made into a goon for all to see.

"Scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head." Was indeed in the slogan.

Especially if we have more two person homes working a job or two each to make ends meet.

I know someone who does dog sitting that works remotely. Its her remote work that allows her to complete her day job while looking after the companions of others that have to go in to the office and work with their hands, like yours truly, the welder.
While I can understand a CEO wanting to fill all the chairs in an office building they pay for to justify the costs, sometimes situations like this make me thing we could migrate workstyle to a different format to make things like this possible.

I mean, we might be staring down the end of the decent and an intersection coming up quick if trends and tension are anything to go off of right now. Might not be the end of the downhill trajectory, but it could certainly lead to a collision. Time will tell.

Yeah... you fucked up with this take.
Please go see a shrink, and bring this up.
Damn good starting point to explain, "If you keep looking for evil in the world, that is all you will end up seeing." Perspective matters.

Honestly? While it would be wonderful to identify him and get justice for the injustice committed on our streets, they probably are aware if any info on this guy gets made public the doxxing community being practically shouted at by people baying for blood would find this guy's entire bio, and some deranged fuck would go after his family or home (if the asshole even has any).. instead of just him.
We've seen it before, so it wouldn't suprise me.

Yeah, when every media source has a bias today, and people are coming up with their own 'facts' by the minute online, it's hard not to want to scope something from every angle and form your own truth of it. It's honestly sad how dishonest everything has become, whether news is built to fit an agenda, create eye catching clickbait, or outright wordplay to dance around the facts while spurring emotions and division. 🥲
