No.

When I was younger we had a Boston Terrier named Henry. He LOVED coffee. No matter what, no matter where you put your coffee he would find it and if left unattended he would drink it. Even putting it on top of the fridge or in a cupboard, he would find it. The only way we could stop it was by giving him his own cup of coffee every morning so he would leave ours alone.

Real American cheese is a blend of two cheeses with an emulsifier. Dollar store stuff is “processed American dairy product “ that has whey protein, milk solids, oils, several emulsifiers, stabilizers, flavorings, etc, and contains no actual cheese. It will do what is shown, it won’t melt even when you put it in the microwave, it just forms a skin and turns rubbery.

Bromine is a popular alternative for chlorine in hot tubs and indoor pools. It has much less of an odor than chlorine but cannot be used outside as it becomes inactive in direct sunlight.

Brominated vegetable oil acted as an emulsifier keeping the flavorings, which are generally oils, from separating from water. It has been replaced by gum arabic.

Brominated vegetable oil too, which was only removed from mountain dew in 2022 and banned by the FDA in 2024. Bromine is just not good to consume.

It is getting to be close to 50% of the traffic on the internet. Dead internet theory is alive and well.

To put it in a little bit of perspective. The IceCube detector I mentioned is a 1km cube detector. The detector in this post was roughly 40m tall and 40m wide. That means that IceCube detector has over 400x more detection area, and still only sees 350 interactions a day, 75 of which they are interested in. The detector in this post would see maybe one neutrino interaction a day, and only one every three days that they were interested in observing.

It just wasn't selling well. I know it LOOKS great, but every time I had one I was left disappointed. Chocolate flavor wasn't that strong, ice cream was rather hard, and the waffle "taco shell" was always really soft and kinda soggy not crisp like a waffle shell/cone should be. People rave about them, but looking back at my experience with them I understand why people would reach for better products because I always did. Hell, even a reeses klondike bar is like 2 tiers above a choco taco.

No no, don't take the plate, that is too obvious, take the ring with the wheels on it out from under the plate so it starts making strange noises and not turning right.

There was a failure of a single tube, they are large vacuum tubes and it caused a cascading failure.

Neutrino interactions are rare, the detector needs to be huge to increase the possibility of seeing one, and the high energy ones they are particularly interested in are even rarer. The IceCube detector is built into clear ice in Antarctica at a depth of 1,450m to 2,450m and the grid of detectors spans a full cubic kilometer. Even at that massive size it only detects about 350 neutrinos per day, and only 75 of those are the high energy astrophysical neutrinos they are really interested in.

The red caps with white spots, those are amanita muscaria. They will shatter your reality, and not in a fun way.

We are only in that spot because of our atmosphere. The Moon is also in that same spot, but reaches 260f in the daylight and -208f in the dark. We timed the Apollo landings to be just after lunar sunrise to protect the astronauts suits from the heat. The craters that never get sunlight can reach -424f, or just 20 Kelvin.

FBI not CIA. CIA by charter only operates on foreign nationals, FBI is for domestic affairs.

You don't put a date in a ledger for a visit when you OFFER someone a visit, you do it when they confirm they are attending. Just sayin...

My mom raises sheep on her farm. The females are fine, the males are assholes. She doesn't even go into the enclosure with them and feeds them over a fence. She named one of them Ramsay because he is an asshole and they are going to use some of Gordon Ramsay's recipes to cook him.

Reminder: There is no such thing as a "zero calorie" cooking oil! They use the ridiculously small serving size to put zero calories on the label but oil is oil and it all has the same calories. I have seen "influencers" say "get your zero calorie cooking oil" and then spray a tablespoon into the pan. That tablespoon is still going to be 120 calories.
