The number is not purely KIA, but also WIA, possibly also POW. Still the number is hauntingly high and UA perfected their drone tactics to a level that they kill about 30-50% of the number given. For reference about 5-10% would have been typical for any war of the last 50 years and most before that.

ASFAIK currently RU has mobilized about 1.1% of its population, over 5.5 years of the war. For comparison, the US raised 1.3% during the Vietnam war, which lasted 14 years.
Ah, that my dear is the question we all dread and ponder at the same time. Is there a way out, will there be a sudden putsch or will the madman push the button and nuke half the world? Personally I think before he does that, he will try for a full mobilisation, knowing that it is impossible. Perhaps we are lucky and he will just flee to North Korea.

Personnel has been up for some time now and there is at least some evidence that points towards KIA being at 50%. UA is taking out more soldiers than RU recruits. Just by the numbers they also took out 3 artillery brigades - just over the last 10 days. Kadyrov promised the end of the war for next summer and I think for once he may be right, just in a different way..

Not many more to go, already small barges, floating excavators and similiar crafts are being hit. If it floats, UA is after it.
More than 40 hit by now, maybe even more than 50. Since "hit" is not "sunk" and also they are civilian ships UA does not include them in the list. Still an amazing feat, the Black Sea must be a hailstorm of steel right now.
There is some visible change, like holding officers accountable who mistreat their soldiers. Partly UA is still somewhat stuck in soviel time, though alot has changed in the last 4 years. Yet front-frontline infantry has to hold their positions often for 30-60-120 days without relief. This is what needs to change urgently.
Looks like something can be done afterall, we need more countries like Sweden.
And maybe not even then.
This needs to end, now. EU and NATO should put all the pressure on RU necessary to put a stop to this.

Here is my 2cts: due to the end of USAID the NGO I support had to shrink from 80+ people all over Ukraine down to ~12 unpaid volunteers and 6 semi-paid persons. We had to give away our ambulance, close our medical centers, end the programmes for school children, freeze 90% of our reconstruction projects indefinitely and have been running around asking for money ever since, not being able to scrounge up the 10k needed monthly, which is not really alot of money all things considered.
