A sharp knife is super handy when hunting, good for cutting random weeds and cutting the tops off valuable roots for later harvesting.
Ginseng. I do however keep my eye out for Ginseng as well but it's pretty rare.
During the appropriate season, I'll hunt in the mountains for Bloodroot as it's moderately valuable and in more plentiful supply than (1/2)
