I mean, I've seen the rest of this video, they put like 3" of plaster over this drywall so it may as well be after it's all done

yeah, cause declaring bankruptcy is the one thing he's good at
he's doing it on purpose
cause once everything is broken, it's cheaper and easier to buy
and the rich get richer because they lost nothing and can afford to buy everything

all you gotta do is be there prepared and on time, everything else is just what you did in practice

buddy, you can't take the keys back after you've been renting out the house for several years now, they have squatters rights that they wrote into law

I keep asking myself "how is he so cartoonishly evil?" and then I remember cartoon villains have been based on him for decades

technically not that bad, they only did two remakes in a row, on 3DS then WiiU, the last one, Zero, was released a decade ago, and this new one will be the third remake of a 30 year old game. it's only "the fifth remake" if you consider Star Fox 64 to be a remake of Star Fox from the SNES

I could have done with another 20 of these levels in Bananza

I mean it did take them like 50 years of continuous hard work to get to this point. literally had to wait for people with integrity to die so they could replace them. dedicated entire departments of government to arresting or assassinating civil resistance leaders. buying out the opposition one by one with friends of friends money. getting Fox News recognized as a legitimate news channel and buying out all contradicting news sources. the girft of today is built on the garbage of yesterday.

I was thinking the same thing but the closer I look, the less I see. the cymbals aren't sped up. he screams midway through. you can see him throw a splinter like 20 seconds in and it doesn't look sped up. I think he just did like 100+ takes til he got it

1.25x speed on an audiobook? what's the hurry? it's only like 60 hours long (for the whole series)

kinda unreal how incomplete the original building looked missing a deck

typically flooring is one of the the last things installed, because if they were installed first they'd be scratched/scuffed/damaged and in need of repair as everybody walks over them, which is pretty counterproductive

layout is typically measured and marked out first and used throughout the rest of construction, the more detailed it is the better, honestly the only real problem I see with the little robot is that it needs a perfectly clean and empty floor

that's cause you're confident you can fix any fuckup you make, so stuff just happens faster when you're working with plywood and doing what you want off the cuff, and then whoops you make a mistake, no problem, just fix it and move on. meanwhile meticulously detailed plans every fuckup is the worst, cause it's Not part of the Plan, and every fix is even worse than that, cause it's Not part of the Plan and you Know It's There

I'm assuming the fisheye lens makes this look way, way worse than it actually is... still a hard no

uh, car dealers wouldn't use vasoline either, cause cars don't sell instantly, they can sit in the dealership for months at time, so they're gonna want protection that lasts longer than an afternoon. they'll wash those cars twice, once when they get it and once before it leaves, and doing it more often than that is not an expense they want to pay.

there is a version with the dub but it's not nearly as complete, mostly the beginning and the recent stuff while the middle sections are spotty, check out their website if you're interested

congrats!
you've taken a big step on a long journey.
for the next steps, I'd say just be more mindful of your own life, how people at work talk, how friends talk, and try to take more notice of what they're saying, what's different now vs when you weren't paying attention.
the familiar patterns of your life are not going to change overnight, you really need to study what, if anything, you've been doing that's harmful, or helpful.

Innuendo Studios definitely belongs on this list, their series The Alt-Right Playbook, a series of short videos which breaks down how far right politicians get away with lying so much, is incredibly useful for giving people the tools they need to identify and defend against those lies, and is desperately needed now more than ever

specialize.
do just one thing that helps and keep doing it.
soup kitchens, neighbourhood pantries, joining protests, volunteering, organizing open game nights, whatever you have the time and energy for, just pick one thing and make that the focus.
cause you will drown if you try to take in everything.

isn't that a breach of contract? they have to confirm delivery, don't they? if they're not running the code they're not confirming anything? best of luck getting through all that

I am one again nominating Dragon Ball. (the whole thing not just Z) I mean last time was about dragons and this time it's about anime and Dragon Ball is just kinda perfect for both? hardly my fault that Dragon Ball is an all time classic.
