Agreed. You live a controlled life until 18. Graduate from school and then you are a kid still up til 24 when you learn how the world works.
I can assure you there is "E"lectricity in lightning. =) I didn't even notice I did that. Spell check failed me.
You can search for "lightning map" and it shows you real time strikes and the "circle speed of sound" I send screencaps to my boss.
