I snuggle mine and he quiets down for a while, other than purrs. He'll even fall back to sleep after being cuddled.
That was a dress rehearsal. They've refined their intended actions based on what didn't work then.
I know. Humans are much better at mapping bodies and non-geometric shapes than computers. They don't need to have that extra layer of contrast to see the edges.
i.e. a Minimum wage that's reasonable and tied to the actual cost of living in the current economy.
The costume definitely accents the booty moves. Lots of respect for the dancers. It looks great.
Oh no! whatever shall we do? /s
That car!! oh my! I held my breath while it was getting so close to you.
They're trying to obfuscate even the ones they have reported by having them on several different web pages and trying to decouple them from the undeclared and completely illegal war Trump started and Hegseth is mismanaging horribly.
The reference shoots were amazing and they didn't need to wear pajamas with dots.
At that time, I worked doing software testing for payment systems. There were many many hours worked before that night to ensure nothing broke. On the night, several of my co-workers were required to stay the night at the office just in case something happened and they would need to code fast to fix it. Two managers and half a dozen programmers spent the night there and all of them had the flu. They were trading places on the only 2 couches in the office. All of them were off for a week after.
It's ok to commit fraud as long as you're white and pay.. err donate to Trump.
And suddenly I like Ritchson even more than before.
This would lead to even more companies requiring their employees to only work for them. If you have more than one job, fired immediately, even if the jobs don't interfere with each other. If the employer has to compensate based on hours worked elsewhere, they won't hire.
I am so happy for the boys. They found the perfect fur-ever home.
Wonderful! I am so happy for her.
And no one has submitted anything to do so. Raising the minimum wage doesn't fix it either since those companies with mostly 'part time' workers will just slash the hours so they don't pay more.
There were, potentially, fewer scammers on Craig's List 15 years ago. There are non-scammers listings now, too, but just because you weren't scammed does not mean that others have not been.
Companies should be strictly limited on the number of employees they can have at a 'reduced'/non-benefit rate vs the rest of the company. They should also be limited on the number of employees that can be "contractors" without providing benefits and wages commiserate with 'regular' employees (as in what the contracting firm pays the employee). The current thresholds should have fewer work arounds before changing them or else it's pointless grandstanding.
This should include all who work more than one "part time" job to make up enough hours to be "full time".
And even more incentive for companies to have only part-time employees.
Another shell game is "contracting" where the company hires "temporary" workers through a contracting firm, paying the firm who then pays the worker. Even though the middle man gets a much high rate than the actual worker, because it is "billed" differently and they completely avoid paying any benefits, it gets around any of the thresholds. The employees also have different taxation, having to pay most of the taxes themselves that are usually done via employer withholding.
Companies will even have a revolving "temporary" worker program with their employees working a specific amount of time at a reduced wage and no benefits as a 'temp' then not employed by them for the minimum amount of time to not have them considered permanent to be rehired again for another round. All while promising it's a "temp to permanent" position.
Sadly, in the US, when you tie wage thresholds for wage/benefits to hours of week worked, i.e. full-time vs part-time, those companies will have the majority of their workers be just below the threshold so they don't have to pay them adequately or provide any benefits. They will have two or three "part time" workers with limited wages and benefits vs having a single worker (working the same number of hours as the three) with higher wages and benefits.
Sadly, his MAGA followers "remember" it as soon as he tells them a pure fabrication. They will continue to expound on the non-existent event until others will start to believe it as well and "remember" is happening. Any and all evidence it never happened will be labeled a cover-up and 'fake news' even with zero evidence it was real. They've done this multiple times and will continue to do so.
LOVE these! They look fabulous!
And back bacon is tasty, double smoked bacon even more so. Canadians do pork so good.
And you can tell who first learned to type when there were only typewriters. My middle school only had mostly manual typewriters and a couple electric (Selectric?) typewriters. When computers started to be more mainstream, the 2nd space after a period went away. It took a while for some of us to adjust.
Oh good!
Poor kitty! I hope they can give her relief and healing.
