One of my core memories from childhood was my dad buying me the last Contructicon so I could build Devastator. It was extremely rare for me to get a new toy for no reason, but I pled my case that I just needed the last one, and he went ahead and got it for me.

The CEO at my former company bought a three foot tall gray alien to move around the office to celebrate someone doing a good job, and named it Chiggs, after the aliens from the show. It always made me cringe a bit since I felt like Chiggers was supposed to be reminiscent of racist nicknames to dehumanize enemies
